The Hallson Crisis, or the North Hallson Conflict, was a time of which many conflict occured between the Republic of New Saint Johns and Northern Empire. These conflicts were caused by a territory dispute between the two micronations. North Hallson was a peice of land just north of New Saint Johns which was seen as a strategic location for the militaries of both sides. Northern empire had wanted the land due to it limiting NSJ's growth and New Saint Johns wanted it as it allowed them to mobilize close to Northern Empire without entering neutral territory. Both sides do not consider these conflicts a war, as they were undeclared and mostly accidental.
History
Around the beginning of July, the Saint Johns Ground Force moved into North Hallson. In order to counter this invasion of neutral territory, the Northern Empire moved its troops near North Hallson. The NSJ demanded that Northern Empire back down, but they refused. Eventually, a conflict began between the two sides. No progress was made, and the NSJ and Northern Empire agreed to take measures to prevent war.
SJGF First Raid
The first escalation in the conflict was when the NSJ ordered an attack on Northern Empire lines in order to "Secure its sovereignty over the region" The battle was not very violent, and the raid was successful. Northern Empire would proceed to do a counterraid, but failed as they did not have the weaponry to succeed. The Dominion of Flouron threatened to interfere if New Saint Johns did not stop the conflict, but were ignored. NSJ took more of North Hallson, but not all of it.
Northern Empire - Flouronian Raid
A few days after the first raid, the Northern Empire and Dominion of Flouron created an alliance to push New Saint Johns out of North Hallson. However, when they were mobilizing for the raid, the SJGF (Saint Johns Ground Force) had noticed them and opened fire. The battle was long for such small micronations, lasting 1.5 Hours. Eventually, the Flouronians surrendered, and then the Northern Empire soldiers. Yet again, NSJ took a bit of North Hallson, but did not take the rest.
Northern Empire - Flouronian War
This incident occured on August 18th, 2023 and was a result of an unjustified Northern Empire attack on Flouronian property. The Dominion of Flouron, despite having a bad relationship, chose to ask NSJ for help, saying "We will both be able to liberate North Hallson, and demolish this threat" To everyones suprise, the NSJ chose to support Flouron in its war. In the span of 30 minutes, they destroyed the Northern Empire defenses and NSJ was able to claim almost all of North Hallson.
Final SJGF Raid
The final event in the conflict was a small raid by the SJGF which took the last remaining section of North Hallson. This raid was not very violent and resulted in a quick surrender of Northern Empire Forces.
