The Great Xiang (Hanzi: 大香; pinyin: Dà Xiāng), officially the Empire of the Great Xiang (Hanzi: 大香帝國; pinyin: Dà Xiāng Dìguó), also known as the Xiang dynasty (Hanzi: 香朝; pinyin: Xiāng Cháo), is an self-declared sovereign state constituting the Senkaku Islands, Amami Islands and the Kuril Islands. Located in the Pacific Ocean, it lies in the East China Sea and the Sea of Okhotsk. Neighbouring states include the Taiwan, China and Japan. The Hanzi that make up Xiang's name mean "Fragrant", and the Xiang dynasty is often called the "Fragrant Empire".
The government operates under absolute monarchy. About 10% of the Great Xiang's claim is mostly claimed but uncontrolled. Daohai (道海) is the capital city and seat of government located in Diaoyutai Province. The dynasty has claimed its territories are completely independence from the Republic of China, Japan and Russia since 18 October 2013, the day when the country was declared.
