Generalissimo is the highest military rank of the Royal Egemonican Army (Regio Esercito Egemoniense), conferred only for the most important merit. Nowadays, the only alive owner of the rank is His Royal Highness Edoardo Vittorio I, King of Egemonica.
Other decorated soldiers
The rank of Generalissimo has also been posthumously given to Lorenzo Podestà, soldier in the alpine division "Monterosa" during the second world war, decorated with the War Cross and and successively of many honors of the Italian Republic for being an international fame athlete, winning the 1955 World Sailing Championship (Snipe Class).
