The General Secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Party of Quebec is head of the People's Party of Quebec and the highest-ranking official within the United People's Republic of Quebec. The General Secretary is a standing member of the Politburo and head of the Secretariat. The officeholder is usually considered the "paramount leader" of Quebec.
