Friendship Gateway is a gate to Red Square in Baughston, Republic of Molossia.[1] It is generally used as an entrance to Red Square during tours. A plaque on the gate declares it as being "dedicated to openness, inclusiveness and amity between all peoples." Said plaque also credits several contributors who helped build the gate, including micronations, micronationalists and Molossians.[2]

History

President Kevin Baugh announced its construction in late January 2017, and began assembling materials in February. By mid-April, the partially complete Friendship Gate was open. Baugh asked micronationalists to help aid in its construction via donations.[3] On 13 August, the gateway finished construction and was formally opened.[4] It received a dedication speech from Baugh.[5]
