The Foxlandic Civil War was an internal conflict that took place within the Republic of Foxland between the Dissolutinaries and the Foxlandic Oligarchy against the Republic of Foxland. The conflict began on November 13, 2018, ending roughly 3 months later, on February 2, 2019, when Foxlandic Prime Minister Blake L., finally agreed on the terms enforced by Luke S.
Beginning of the Conflict
The Foxlandic Civil War began due to unrest following the Foxlandic War on Immigration, which eventually led to the formation of the Dissolutinaries. The Foxlandic Oligarchy was formed by a group of people who wanted power for themselves and nobody else.
The first conflict was initiated at 15:32 on November 13, 2018. It was an attack by the Dissolutinaries against the Republic of Foxland. The engaging Dissolutinary force consisted of 4 men, while the defending Foxlandic group consisted of only 1 man. This attack prompted Foxland to declare a state of civil war.
The first engagement by the Oligarchy wasn't until November 23, 2018. It was a failed operation that consisted of a single Oligarchic soldier engaging with a single Foxlandic soldier. The Oligarchic troop was pushing back into their occupied territory, leading Foxland to recognise the Foxlandic Oligarchy as a part of the civil war.
Outcome
On February 2, 2019, the Republic of Foxland surrendered, after the Battle of Blumalo, in which 5 Dissolutinary soldiers marched into the capital and occupied the city of Blumalo, leading to a Dissolutinary victory.
The Treaty
The Treaty of Blumalo consisted of Blake's resignation and the eventual disestablishment of both the Republic of Foxland and the Foxlandic Oligarchy. Once the process was done, territories that formerly compromised Foxland were recognised as Canadian.
