Fort Lavender, officially the Royal Province of Fort Lavender is a Royal Province of Bradonia that is located within Fort Worth, Texas. Fort Lavender has been considered to be historically important to Bradonia and was the historical site of the 2nd Bradonian Anschluss and the CTWIG Operation. Fort Lavender is home to the Violet Navel Base, which acts as Bradonia's one and only Navel Base within the DFW Region. Fort Lavender is also home to the Tarrent Palace, a secondary holding of the Bradonian Royal Family, and the House of Lavender, which served as the "de jure" primary residence until the transition to Tsarstrina Palace.

Fort Lavender is the most populated out of the Royal Provinces within Bradonia, possessing a current population of five, and additionally consists of 2/10th of the nation's territory, making Fort Lavender the second smallest region within Bradonia behind Lesser Bradonia and the Hudora Duchy. Originally referred to as Bradiville, Bradistadt and Bravrina, Fort Lavender, like Lesser Bradonia, is one of the more older regions of Bradonia, being intertwined with Bradonia's early days and the Second Bradonian Anschluss. Unlike Lesser Bradonia, Fort Lavender has maintained a consistent population of around five, and unlike Lesser Bradonia, was barely affected by the Great 2023 Exodus, and by the time of the CTWIG Operation, was able to regain its "lost" subjects. Today, Frot Lavender consists of the Tarrent Palace, the Violet Navel Base and One Residential Property.

Etymology

History

During the Second Bradonian Anschluss, the Liberal Autocracy of Bradonia under the leadership of Brayvenric I invaded the area where Bradistadt would be located in order to quickly expand its territory and stabilize the nation. The territory would be successfully annexed and made into a colony, where it would be mostly neglected by the government until the emergence of communism within Bradonia. Under communist leadership, the colony would be made into the capital, replacing Sonoma, due to the latter's dreadful condition. The colony would also be renamed to "Zorangrad", to match Lavender's former pseudonym. During the communist era, Zorangrad would host a technology conference where discussions on banning TikTok and developing a web browser would take place, due to the influence of the Redshanks Republic in Bradonia at the time, which helped prompt these discussions.

After the Hosenburgain Rebellion and the downfall of communism within Bradonia, the government would seek to restore the monarchy and declare an Empire in an attempt to restore their diplomatic reputation with other micronations, as such Zoarngrad would be renamed to "Bradiville" and would become the capital of the new "Empire of Greater Bradonia". Bradiville, unlike its predecessor, would stay intact for almost four months, due to better government stability, however, despite that, Bradiville would eventually collapse after the September Crisis, which threatened the well-being of the nation both physically and internally. Despite Bradonia surviving the September Crisis, it became very obvious that reform was needed in order for Bradonia to compete with other micronations as such, a nation-building campaign for Bradonia was launched by the government. One of these reforms was the renaming of the capital from "Bradivillie" to "Bradistadt", which gave the city a name that was far more Germanic, and that better represented the Celtic-Germanic culture that Bradonia wished to enforce.

Following this reform, Bradistadt would start to undergo reform on a scale that neither Zorangrad nor Bradiville could ever match. These reforms would start with the relocation of the Bradonian Government-owned company, Bradonia Network from Sonoma to Bradistadt which would bring business to Bradistadt. Alongside this, posters endorsing Bradonian Nationalism and anti-social media views would be hung all around the city, encouraging loyalty and nationalism above all else to the government. The house in which Bradistadt was located in, would later be renamed to Tarrant Palace to pay respects to General Edward H. Tarrant, a general of the Republic of Texas and later the State of Texas, who was considered a war hero in the area.

Around March 24th, 2022, the city of Bradistadt was given special administrative privileges by the Bradonian Government and was made into a "Royal Municipality" giving it a local government, and some autonomy, under the supervision of the government. The monarch, Brayvenric I was made the first Lord Protector of Bradistadt for his role in founding and developing the city. Today, the Royal Municipality of Bradistadt continues to expand continuously eventually becoming the most popular city in Bradonia after the dissolution of Austrozat.

Politics & Government

The Royal Province of Fort Lavender is a provincial government under an autocratic and absolute monarchy with a Lord-Governor or Lady-Governess serving as the head of government of Fort Lavender, with the position being hereditary, and the position also holding a status of nobility within the Bradonian Realm. The Lord or Lady although wielding all forms of executive, legislative, and judicial powers within their domains are obligated to consult and seek the approval of the Monarch if they wish to propose or initiate changes within their according domains. Due to its status as a Royal Province, Fort Lavender like Dechnya and Lesser Bradonia possesses little to no autonomy.
