The Floranian Senate, originally called the General Assembly of Florania, is the unicameral legislature of the Free Republic of Florania. At present, the Senate has 7 seats. Members are elected to their offices using cumulative voting, a type of first-past-the-post that is more representative of the electorate.
In September 2020, the General Assembly voted to rename the body to the Senate. This bill was presented by Senator Leon Montan of Ellesmere.
