A Floating Territorial Zone is a type of extraterritoriality not fully governed by the state it is surrounded by. The Floating Territorial Zone works upon the same principle as an International Zone, and these are in place across the world. If you have been on an international flight, you have been in an International Zone!

In the case of the Democratically Elected Principality of Heland it refers to the 10㎡ territorial area surrounding all Helandian citizens which allows them to follow The Guaranteed Rights of The 1st Constitution of Heland above any local laws.

The Helandian Floating Territorial Zone does not constitute an invasion of land, and within this zone citizens must still obey the law of the territory they are in, unless they conflict with The Guaranteed Rights set out by The 1st Constitution of Heland.
