History

Colonial Era

Flag of Wamong during British rule between 1681 to 1783.

Between 1681 and 1783, Wamong was under the rule of the British Empire. During this period, the flag used was a red banner with a Union Jack in the top left corner of the flag. This was the flag of the Province of Pennsylvania, which was a British colony that existed between 1681 and 1775. However, by 1775, the colony seceded and joined the American rebels during the American Revolutionary War. Despite this, the territory that now makes up Wamong was still under British control, thus the territory never changed at all.

That is, until the British surrendered on 3 September 1783, and the territory that made up modern Wamong was turned over to the Americans, and the flag was changed. This eventually begins the period of American control of Wamong.

American Era

The flag used during the American Era was the American flag. The flag changed numerous times to fit with the new states being added to the Union. The flag's design was a flag with thirteen red and white stripes, and a blue canton with a number of stars that were equal to the number of states in the Union. The flag was changed, however, after Wamong became independent in 2016 as the State of Wamong.
