The current flag of Deepak was made by High King Issac I and was informally adopted on 10 August 2020 after a referendum that voted in favour of it. The flag is inspired by the design of Deepak Dalmatian, a character from the British-Canadian animated television series 101 Dalmatian Street, popular in the nation. The flag change referendum was held on 8 August 2020 and was meant to last until 15 August. The referendum ended prematurely on 10 August with a unanimous vote in favour of the flag; 8-0-0.
