The First Micro-World War is a military conflict that first involved the French Slav Republic and Tsardom of Malia and their allies, and the Communist Republic of Redshanks and their allies, before spreading across the micronational world.

This conflict, which began on April 13, 2022 after the declaration of war by Franslav President Adrien Hugé against the President of the Redshanks Daniel Moyses, is the first of its kind since it involves a large number of micronations all around the world. Indeed, the war began in Europe, then spread to Africa with the entry into the war of the Republic of Toubak and a little later of West Migingo, then to America.

Background

On February 23, 2022, the Communist Republic of Redshanks sends threats to the Organization of Communist Micronations, of which the French Slav Republic is a member. These threats are very badly received by many members, including the People's Republic of Edristan, the United Republics of Anslavia, the People's Republic of Enamechia and the French Slavic Republic. On the same day, the O.C.M. discovers that the Redshanks is a terrible dictatorship that deprives its people of all freedom and does not respect human rights. It is following this discovery that the members of the organization decide to break diplomatic relations with the Communist Republic of Redshanks.

On the side of the Slavic Republic of France, the conflict begins to become possible when President Hugé discovers the existence on March 11, 2022 of a democratic rebel movement of the Redshanks, the People's Republic of the Redshanks. In this desire to help the movement, Franslavia rearmed its territory on March 28, to prevent a declaration of war.

Timeline

The beginning of the war

The conflict starts on April 13, 2022, at the end of the afternoon, following the declaration of war by Franslavia against the Redshanks, at 5 p.m. De facto, Franslavia created a coalition of micronations likely to go to war against the Redshanks. At 7 p.m., the Redshanks mobilize their allies of the Micronational Communist Pact, and obtain the support of Yigitistan. In the evening, Franslavia obtains the support of many micronations being in bad relations with the Redshanks, and obtains financial assistance from the Empire of Khstania at 9 p.m.

At midnight, the Socialist Republic of Novgorod joins the conflict alongside Franslavia and, in the night, the Republic of Toubak, the biggest ally of the Slavic Republic of France, formalizes its entry into the war with a speech broadcast live on Instagram. The Toubakian declaration of war is very important for the Franslavs, who were counting on their ally after a meeting between the two Presidents shortly after Franslavia entered the war, and after meetings with the Chief of Staff of Toubak.

On the morning of April 14, Franslavia announced that it had an armed force of 3 soldiers, a helicopter and an artillery piece, and the President said he wanted to develop this armament. At the same time, the Republic of Toubak announces that it will soon send 30 soldiers and 2 planes, while the People's Republic of Edristan and the United Republics of Anslavia bring their support to the Slav Republic of France.

On the side of the Redshanks, the micronation obtains the support of the Rebels of Toubak and the Communist Fluvetians who are at war against Franslavia and Toubak since August 2021. De facto, the Former Republic of Fluvetia joins the conflict by entering the ranks of the Franslav army.

The Battle begins

The fighting began on April 14 in the woods of Veretz, the largest city in the French Slav Republic. Indeed, around 3 p.m., Franslav troops advanced in the woods after Redshanks troops were spotted by residents. Around 3:30 p.m., the exchanges of fire begin, and will last until 4 p.m. The wood was prepared by the Franslav Army in case an offensive was to take place. Trenches and bunkers were built for the occasion. Following the fighting, the United Allied Soviet Republic incorporated Franslavia into its alliance, and engaged in the war.

In the evening, already 23 micronations are engaged in the war. 72 soldiers in the Franslavie camp, 47 in the Redshanks camp. At 9 p.m., the Coalition against the Redshanks, created by President Adrien Hugé the day before, organizes a meeting, as do the Redshanks and their allies. Indeed, the Commonwealth of Platinum Nations joined the conflict against the dictatorship, while rebel groups from Toubak and Fluvetia joined the Redshanks camp, whereas they were a separate camp until then.

On the night of April 14–15, the cyberwar begins when an account called "Quelqu’un" hacks into the Coalition group against the Redshanks. The account claims to swear allegiance to the Redshanks, although the link between the account and the Redshanks has yet to be established.

In the afternoon of 25 September [14:09 GMT], the Breve Empire had learned of the human rights violations and illegal occupation of Malia territory. The leading council voted for an ultimatum to be sent to Redshanks. The email contained demands, requiring them to exit the state of Malia and to agree to the UN Charter of Human Rights within 4 hours. This ultimatum was ignored, so at 15:03 GMT [Mon. 26th Sept 2022] they declared war.

The conflict spreads

On April 15, the Tsardom of Malia warns that Redshanks troops were occupying part of its territory. Meanwhile, Franslavia continued to reinforce its territory as fighting continued in the woods around Veretz.

During the day, the leader of the People's Socialist Republic of Carolina asked the President of Franslavia to release General Andrew. However Adrien Hugé asserted that no general had been captured, which the communist leader retorted.

Following these events, and to bring support to the R.C.R, the People's Republic of Scordia affirmed that it was going to send peacekeeping troops so that the conflict stops quickly. But everything was turned upside down by a sudden event, which happened on the morning of April 16: Dwina Sopep, one of the sons of Tim Sopep, the former dictator of West Migingo, had just taken over the country's capital, M'Bendanoga, with his military junta. . At war with the French Slav Republic and the Republic of Toubak, West Migingo entered the war de facto on the side of the Redshanks. The war is going global!

End of war

The war ends after two major events. The first is the battle waged on April 16 by the Union of allied soviet republics against the Redshanks rebels present on its territory. The battle is filmed and broadcast live on Instagram. It is a victory for the UASR who have taken a man who is a Redshanks soldier prisoner.

The second event is the decision of the President of the Slavic Republic of France not to follow up on the conflict which he considers "unprofessional, stupid and useless" because of the unprofessional actions of West Migingo who sent insults and porn images to the President Adrien Hugé, and the claims of the Republic of Itania which had joined the war for no real reason and prenteded to bomb a power station in Migingo in less than minutes.
