Firefly
Firefly (also known as Firefly+, Firefly Premium, or Freefly depending on your plan, or service provider, is an Elarian subscription video on-demand over-the-top streaming service owned and operated by ACBIC Media, a division of ACBIC. It offers original content, remade broadcast properties, and content from the ACBIC Media library, including some other properties.
History
On 14 June 2021, they announced other series programming such as Black Ops, to-be-released in 2022, and a movie made as an adaptation of War named War Never Changes scheduled for a 2022 release as well.
On 31 July 2021, Dragon Studio started as a team of animators, script writers, and voice actors who would attempt to start a Dragon Ball Super Abridged Series which was later cancelled. However, they did start BattleBot Jr., The Skintakers, and Fight of Gods. BattleBot Jr. released onto their new at the time YouTube Channel, where they gained 8 subscribers, 8 likes, and 100 views in less than an hour after BattleBot Jr.'s Episode One release. In the early hours on 1 August 2021, it was announced that Fight of Gods had Seasons One to Two animated and they were just waiting on the voice actors to wake up for them to get started.
On 2 August 2021, Fight of Gods and BatteBot Jr. respectively were officially allowed to be used by Firefly, with Firefly's new management also inquiring about buying out the new Dragon Studio. Later on in 2021, it was revealed that Fight of Gods had been cancelled. However, on 12 October 2021, a full reboot had been made. Eventually, two seasons, a special, and a movie were all created around the same timespan. They were released by Firefly-Dragon Studio under the new name Dragonfly Studio.
