The FISA International Cup was a soccer tournament developed from 1999 to 2014, it was organized every 3 years and having countries as its headquarters, the format by which the matches were played was the Pro Evolution Soccer platform developed by Konami.

History

From 1999 to 2014, the FISA International Cup was the most successful tournament at an interactive level and after finishing the edition played in Australia in 2014, Persico and Cherniv two micronations of Mexican origin decided to speak with FISA for the development of a World Cup for Micronations. After this, the Organizing Commission of the Micronations World Cup was born, which had its first edition in 2017 to give continuity to the line of succession of the extinct International Cup.

The Estado Social de El Dorado, a micronation of Colombian origin, was chosen by the now FIIFA to host the first edition of a competition for micronations with a participation of 16 absolute selections, after seeing the great success of micronational football FIIFA decide to grant the venues from 2020 and 2021 to Parisigrad and Vladivaskaya respectively.
