The Republic of Egrevia, more commonly known as Egrevia, is a micronation in Spain established on 1 March 2020 by a Official Declaration of Independence.
Egrevia was created, as established in its proclamation of independence to "safeguard the knowledge, artistic creations and ancient traditions inherited from Ancient Greece and Rome, being historical heirs of the same, putting in value the sustainability of the good life, supporting piety, virtue, honor, evergetism and free will to build without coercion, impositions nor fear a country heir and substitute of the Greco-Latin tradition, the sovereign people of Egrevia proclaims its independence and conforms itself as a cultural society with a republican form of government, self-financed, rejecting any type of subsidy or public aid from any State and with the unbreakable will to guarantee the development and the sustainability of the culture, the tradition and the original values of the nation."[1]
