The Duchy of Provincia, more commonly known as Provincia was a Duchy within the TDC Empire. Provincia is one of the oldest territories in the Empire, which originated as a Province sometime in December 2021. The Duchy was founded as a Duchy of the TDC Empire on March 9, 2023. The current Duke of Provincia is Ibvar S.
Etymology
The name Provincia means 'land of Province' and comes from the word Province with the suffix -ia, which means 'land of'.
History
Formation
The Formation of Provincia as a province was sometime in December 2021. It originally had no name and was colloquially just called 'pool province' as it contained a pool which was used by it's residence.
Prominent Figures
Provincia has been the home place of many important figures within the Empire, such as Ibvar Singh, the former Chancellor.
