The Prince-Bishopric of Anglica, also known as Anglica, is a semi-independent micronation ruled by Christoph Billung currently occupied by the Tsardom of Begon.
History and Etymology
Anglica was originally claimed by the Tsardom of Begon as a county in the province of Greater Brunsnia called the Anglenburg Islands. The islands were under the feudal rule of Arturo Lara until the Begon was officially dissolved in August 2021. After the dissolution, the land was given to Elaroech and was never ceded back into the Tsardom of Begon. The duchy is named after Anglenburg, which is in turn named after the country of England. The name translates to "English town" in Begonic, and Anglica directly translates to England in Begonic as well.
