The Unitary State of NewPhinlandia, more commonly shortened to NewPhinlandia, is a micronation in The United States of America founded in 2022 at an unknown time in opposition to the ideals represented by the United States.

It is an oligarchy, with decisions made democratically by three oligarchs who gained office during the creation of the country. These ideas are later voted on by the entire populace.

NewPhinlandia is currently not at war and does not have any outside alliances

Etymology

The name NewPhinlandia comes from an attempt to create an original name from scratch. Ultimately, it is a joke on the name of Newfoundland.

History

Politics and government

NewPhinlandia is an oligarchy run by three oligarchs in charge of different divisions, those being war, the people and the law. When a problem is brought up, it is converted into standard form and the three vote on whether or not to pass the bill. If it is passed, the nation at large votes democratically on it.

The Ministry of the Treasury is in control of all banks and monetary systems across the micronation. No imports or exports have taken place

Law and order

There is currently no organised militia.

Foreign relations

No attempts to form any alliances or treaties have been officially made yet.

Military

There is no current military structure.

Geography and climate

Economy

The economy of NewPhinlandia is based off of tea leaves and pencils, with regular imports of pencils from the US scheduled to be implemented. Tea leaves are harvestable by citizens, though a general counting of currency is also scheduled to be implemented soon after "the nation can do... What a nation does. Which is function. I'm not really good at this, am I?"
