The Kingdom Of Litica, more commonly known as Litica, is a micronation in North America consisting of the Inner Kingdom containing the capital and the majority of the land located in Southwestern Ontario, and the Outer Territories containing the majority scattered across the north American continent namely Florida and Southern Ontario. The Kingdom Of Litica began as a humble small nation consisting of a singular home, but it has swiftly expanded to other locations.

The Kingdom Of Litica is an absolute monarchy with all of the power resting on the king Max Injic.

Our foreign policy consists of maintaining good relations with allies and military conquest of opposition only used as a last resort with diplomacy being our top priority.

Etymology

The Name 'The Kingdom of Litica' has origins in the Croatian language, the word litica meaning cliff in English. The English interpretation of our name would be 'The Kingdom of the cliffs" this name was chosen due to the geographical location of the Inner Kingdom. The Inner Kingdom contains the Niagara Escarpment, a ridge that extends over 1050km across North America, these are the cliffs being referred to in the name.

History

The Kingdom Of Litica started out as a home nation, consisting of one house and its yard, but over the course of a day many new lands were claimed by the kingdom. These lands were places of expedition and exploration initially although they are now apart of the Outer Territories. The amalgamation of the farm into the Inner Kingdom came about because of a treaty with the king of the farm, Kevin The rooster. The annexation of parts of the escarpment into the Inner Kingdom came as a result of the invasion of the Skinners bluff management area, during this event Litica forces were unopposed.

Politics and government

The Kingdoms government is an with the Head of government being the king, Max Injic and his Esquire Reese Injic. The Kingdom has a council of royal advisors, these royal advisors have limited power over the kingdom but have jurisdiction over their assigned regions. The advisors look after and defend the outer most territories from attack and internal problems.

King

The King of The Kingdom Of Litica is the face of the Kingdom . The King has full power over the Kingdom both Inner and Outer Territories and the Advisors ruling over them. The only authority the King has the submit to is God.

Esquire

The Esquire of The Kingdom Of Litica is the head advisor and second in command in the Kingdom. The Esquire Reese Injic is the Advisor for the Inner Kingdom and has power over all the other advisors of other territories, only being trumped by the King himself.

Royal Advisors

The Advisors of The Kingdom Of Litica play a crucial role in the expansion and preservation of the kingdom. The Advisors rule their separate territories and report on news from their respective territories to the King and the head advisor, The Esquire. They are also responsible for mobilizing their respective territory an army if need be.

Law And Order

The King of Litica has the full power to convict anyone of a crime committed, law enforcement is handled by the military.

Military

The Kingdom Of Liticas Military is comprised of a special operations unit and a general mayhem unit.

Special Operations Unit The special operations unit comprises of 2 permanent personal in the Inner Kingdom, they are responsible for conquest and expansion of borders, defense of borders and other miscellaneous military operations. The special operations unit is often deployed to the Outer Territories to aid the general mayhem unit. The unit is equipped with advanced airsoft guns, cars and other basic weaponry. The Special Operations Unit receives additional manpower to aid in operations depending on the location of troop movements.

General Mayhem Unit The General Mayhem Unit comprises of 13 members, 8 of these members reside within The Kingdom with the remaining 5 foreign supporters from [[1]]. The general mayhem unit covers over the entire Kingdom, with peak 'membership' occurring during times of operation with many members of the unit being minutemen not being recorded as official members. Peak membership has reached over 40+ people at times of operations. The General Mayhem Unit is lightly equipped with some form of face covering, recording devices, basic airsoft or cheese slices and often cars.

Conflicts The Kingdom of Litica has had many conflicts in the past including various multi-month campaigns. The Crackhead Offensive The Crackhead Offensive was a series of skirmishes against the Crackheads of Ontario with notable skirmishes in Wiarton and Windsor. The Campaign Of Florida The Campaign Of Florida was a sequence of raids and skirmishes against Floridians and the Ritz Carlton Forces that has been ongoing for the past couple of years.

Foreign relations

The Kingdom Of Liticas foreign policy is based off good relations and trade with other micronations and the active rejection of Canadian sovereignty, The Kingdom Of Litica will do anything in its power to undermine Canadian influence over the Kingdom. The Kingdom Of Litica believes in conquest of opposing forces and strict defense of its borders.

Geography and climate

The Kingdom is a diverse nation with many climates and geographical locations, the Inner kingdom is located on the Niagara escarpment and has a myriad of wild and plant life. such common animals in the inner kingdom include the White tailed deer, American black bear and the Lake trout. common plant life includes the Eastern white cedar and the American beech tree. The Outer Territories in Southern Ontario have a similar geography, climate and wildlife as the Inner Kingdom with the exceptions of some Geographical features and wildlife associated with a more northern climate. While the Sarasota and Venice Florida territories have a Humid subtropical climate and the wildlife that corresponds with it. some Common wildlife in this region include The American alligator and the Red mangrove tree. The geography of the Sarasota and Venice territories consist of Florida's signature beaches alongside mangroves.

Economy

The economy of The Kingdom Of Litica is heavily tied to the Canada. Popular exports of Litica include Bibles, Airsoft related goods and farm fresh eggs. The currency used in Litica is the Canadian dollar.

Culture

The Kingdom Of Litica has no explicit culture currently but the customs follow local customs depending where in The Kingdom you are. The Kingdom also has a news reporting service which people across The Kingdom can communicate and share news. There are no official celebrations in The Kingdom Of Litica.
