The Federal Republic of Snovasko, more commonly known as Snovasko , is a micronation in Texas, United States. Snovasko was founded on 17 November 2021 as "The Purple Flag Republic". It has a population of 11 and land area of .1485 km as of writing this. Jimmy T. Martin being President for life, and his advisor being Corbin Carpenter. Snovasko uses Fahrenheit and the imperial system. Snovasko also uses Smoots (5ft 7in).

Snovasko has no political parties, or scheduled elections. The President has all authority of policies, economics, and military. The advisor is appointed by the president and can removed any time if need be.

Snovasko has no known neighbors. Snovasko has a foreign policy of is uninvolvement as of right now. Snovasko has not set up any relations with any foreign nations.

History

On November 17 2021 Jimmy T. Martin, Corbin Carpenter, and around four other people met up in the woods (Now is Snovasko) and decide to start a new nation. The new nation would be called "The Purple Flag Republic". A flag was created known as the "Black Starred Banner".

The name would be later changed to Snovasko on 19 December 2022, as apart of the rebranding campaign. In January 2023 the "Revivement of Snovasko" project began. This project would have Three stages. Currently it is in Stage One, where the landscape of Snovasko would be terraformed. Stage Two will deal with reworking the political, and judicial system of Snovasko. This stage is planned to start in March 2023. Stage Three will deal with the economics of Snovasko. This stage is planned to start in May or June 2023

Past Elections

Three elections were held before Jimmy T. Martin made the role of president a life-long term. Elections would be held every two months. The elections used the "Winner Takes All." system. On 17 November 2021 the first election would be held and last a whole 3 minutes. With Jimmy T. Martin (No Party Affiliation) getting unanimously voted into office. Five people voted in total.

The January Election cycle would last from 10 January to 17 January 2022. Jimmy T. Martin announced he was running for a 2nd term, representing the Leftist Party. Soon after Corbin Carpenter announced that he would be running against Jimmy T. Martin, with no party affiliation. On 11 January Colten and Max would announce they'd being running together, with no party affiliation. From 11 January to 15 January the election and campaigns went on as normal, until a citizen name Christina, and four of her friends came along and started the January 2022 Blonde Coup. After guerilla forces were gathered on the 16 January the Blonde Coup was crushed, and the election went on as normal. Jimmy t. Martin (Leftist Party) would win. He would choose Corbin Carpenter to be his Vice President.

Jimmy T. Martin (Leftist Party) with seven votes. 53.8% of votes. Corbin Carpenter (No Party) with three votes. 23.1% of votes. Colten & Max(No Party) with three votes. 23.1% of votes.

The March Election was the 3rd and final election of the Purple Flag Republic (Now Snovasko). The March Election cycle would last from 10 March to 17 March 2022. Jimmy T. Martin would run for a 3rd term, with the Leftist Party. Corbin Carpenter would try to run again a 2nd time, with no party. The election would have nothing dramatic happen. At first it was neck and neck until Jimmy T. Martin completed the 'Butcher Expedition" increasing his popularity boost. Jimmy T. Martin would win the election, and appoint Corbin Carpenter as Vice President.

Jimmy T. Martin (Leftist Party) with nine votes. 69.2% of votes. Corbin Carpenter (No Party) with four votes. 30.8% of votes.

Treaty of Unity

On 8 December 2021 Colten (Leader of the Coltinion Republic) and Jimmy T. Martin met to start negotiations of union. On day one of negotiations Colten and Jimmy T. Martin would set out the rights and privileges the citizens and leaders of Coltinion would have. On the 2nd and last day of negotiations they would set up what Coltinion land could be used for. The Treaty of Unity would be signed on 10 December 2021 which would lead to annexation of the Coltinion republic by the Purple Flag Republic (Now Snovasko). It increased the size of Snovasko from .019 km (.0073 mi) to .0407 km (.0157 mi).

Past Expeditions

The Butcher Expedition was a expedition that happened in March 2022. It lead to the discovery and claim of Butcher's Pond. It would help Jimmy T. Martin win the March 2022 Election. It would increase the land area from .0407 km to .0527 km.

The Two Summer Expeditions were two expedition that happened in May 2022 and June 2022. The First Summer Expedition wouldn't lead to anything too important. It would increase the land area from .052 km to .0602 km. The Second Summer Expedition would lead to the discovery of fresh clean drinking water, and would increase land area from .0602 km to .08 km.

The Great Autumn Expedition would last from September 2022 to Early December 2022. It would lead to lots of new land and a small pond. It would increase the size of Snovasko from .08 km to .1485 km.

Politics and government

Role of president became a life-long role. Role of Vice President got turned into Advisor. The president has absolute power over all of the government and policies. The Leftist Party was abolished. The president started the First Summer expedition in May 2022 which led to new areas to search for clay. The advisor is appointed by the president and can removed any time if need be. The role of advisor is to advise the president on what to do, but they have no real power, unless the president says so.

Before 16 April 2022, role of president had a two month long term with a max of four terms. The president got to choose their Vice President after the election. There was only one political party which was the Leftist Party. The main representative of the Leftist Party was Jimmy T. Martin. The Leftist Party ran in the January and March Election, and won both of them.

Ongoing Exile Crisis

On 9 February 2023 it was fund the the woods that Snovasko had been based in was private property, and had a new no trespassing sign. The leadership of Snovasko is still trying to find out how far this private property extends to. For now Snovasko is in a state of exile. This will remain until they can find a new permanent base.

Military

The Snovaski Armed Forces include three branches: "Snovaski Land Forces", "Snovaski Navy", and "Snovaski Guerilla Forces". Each branch has a general, lieutenant, and private. The Snovaski Army has been two conflicts: January 2022 Blonde Coup and the Snovaski Guerilla War. Snovasko has built a defense system near the southern most side of the country. Construction of these defenses began on 8 January 2023

Economy

The Purple Flag Republic's (Today Snovasko) economy was heavily based on clay, and pots. This went on from March 2022 to May 2022. In May 2022 during the Snovaski Guerilla War, the clay was stolen and destroyed. Clay can still be found today but in a much lesser quantity. At the height of the clay industry a pound of clay was worth 3$. Snovasko as a whole has around $342 in its vaults. There is plans of starting up clay production again in May or June 2023
