For more information on the geographical and climate specifics of The Republic of the Benereich, see the Geography and Climate of The Republic of the Benereich.

The Republic of the Benereich spans many different areas in the Bay of Plenty area, and some territories in The Republic stretch beyond, into the Wellington region and Auckland. The list of territories in the Benereich also includes oceanic/aquatic claims. The territory listed here is appropriate to cite as The Republic's for purposes of obtaining citizenship into the Benereich. All territory is under the de facto stewardship of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, currently headed by Wesley von Dookington. The territory of the Benereich is largely divided into 4 Administrative Zones for ease of management, these being Zones Angenhem, Wald, Armut, and Innen. The ‘Outer territories’ are considered a de jure zone but are not technically one due to their isolation from each other rendering it impossible to form a border.

The Dominion of the Blue Lake

Flag of the Dominion of Blue Lake

The Dominion of the Blue Lake, formally the Monarchist Republic of the Blue Lake, is a Dominion under the Republic of the Benereich. It was absorbed into the Republic on the 4th of November 2022 after signing the Dominion of the Republic of the Blue Lake treaty. The Dominion of the Blue Lake was at one point ruled independently by Wilhelm Stern but was integrated after negotiations with Wesley von Dookington. On the 19th of September, 2023, it was discovered by von Dookington that Stern had fabricated the existence of an entire micronation for pure negotiating power. This has since been dubbed “The Con”.

Zone Angenehm (Matua-Otumoetai Territorial Holdings)

Zone Angenehm is named such for its hospitable climate, warm beaches, and affable residents. It is a well-defended, but largely autonomous zone due to its distance from most major historical conflicts and absence of dissent.

Fort Fergusson

Located along the far west of the Matua Peninsula, Fort Fergusson is designed to halt enemy naval forces from accessing the Wairoa River. The general area around the Fort, as well as a section of ocean in front of the Fort, has been claimed to prevent espionage in the vicinity of the area.

Northern Matua

Along the northern tip of the Matua-Otumoetai territorial holdings in the Benereich are the saltmarshes, which are managed from an undisclosed location further inland on the peninsula. As the marsh is sheltered from the ocean by the peninsula itself, it is often used as a naval training ground and mooring facility for the Benerian Naval Forces.

Sherwood Claims

Sherwood territories represent the southernmost tip of the Matua-Otumoetai territorial holdings in the Benereich and are widely regarded as one of the most verdant and well-maintained areas in The Republic as a result of being nestled so deeply within its borders, meaning civilians in the area have hardly needed to fortify.

Pillans Point

Located on the eastern side of the Matua Peninsula from Fort Fergusson, territory claimed in Pillans Point is designed to allow for the control of access through Chapel Street Bridge. By controlling this point, enemies of the Benereich are forced to either conduct a naval invasion or risk moving troops through the highly fortified Pak'N'Save compound.

Zone Wald (Cambridge-Kaimai Territorial Holdings)

Zone Wald is known for its overgrown territories, wide range, and overall ‘rural’ composition. It is well defended by not only its environment, but also by some of the most well-trained soldiers in The Benereich, and is the de facto Capital Zone of The Republic.

Cambridge Defensive Instalment

Located along the venerable Cambridge Road, the Cambridge Defensive Instalment has a full view of Tauranga Hospital in the event the Benereich seeks to break Article 19 of the Geneva Convention. This is a lesser territory but besides from a tactical position with which to prepare an assault, this location does not offer The Republic enough utility to warrant further reinforcement.

Das Echo-Jagdschloss

One of the oldest territories of The Republic, Das Echo-Jagdschloss is where the Benereich hosts its Research and Development department, as well as where the Benereich sends POWs for trial interrogations before being sent to undisclosed locations for further holding. This territory is highly defended, with hostile fauna, overgrown flora, a surplus of firearms and narcotics, and an absence of common sense.

Palast des Kinderverlieses

The Capital of The Republic of the Benerealm, Kinderverlieses is one of the many former palaces of the former King Bendolf Rikler. Since the Benerian Reformation, it has been taken over to be used for the new Benerian Government. Much of this location cannot be disclosed for security reasons, but it is in the public domain that the Benereich Research and Development department tested numerous weapons in the area. It also contains the Ruahihi Power Station, which provides The Republic with the necessary energy to fuel its growing electricity demands.

Wairoa River

The Wairoa River connects Palast des Kinderverlieses, Das Echo-Jagdschloss, and Fort Fergusson and is an important transport route between the 3 locations. The Benerian Navy conducts training along the northern portions of the river, and the Benerian Army conducts amphibious training exercises in the southern confines of the river.

Zone Armut (Greerton Territorial Holdings)

Zone Armut is the outer urban area of The Benreich’s territory, and sees little foreign interference due to the lack of value and/or resources within. Armut sees frequent internal pacification and has ongoing conflict regarding the former capital, Site “16” Sinclair.

Verlassener Palast

Currently the largest city in the Benereich, and originally the capital of the Republic of the Benerealm, Verlassener Palast is now presided over by the Wicked Witch of Greerton. Using a combination of foul sorcery, control over electricity, and a revolting attitude, the Wicked Witch forced Benerian Forces to demilitarise Verlassener in the only loss The Republic has ever encountered to date in The Battle of Sinclair. The area remains under Benereich control, but is completely non-militarised, lest any armed force face the wrath of the Wicked Witch. Radio waves and other electronic devices in the area notoriously malfunction as a result of the Wicked Witch's influence. Benerian Armed Forces continue to vie for control over this haunted location.

Gate Pa Claims

Located between Gate Pa and Greerton, this claim is where the Benerian Armed Forces originally were managed. It has now been turned into a base of operations for the Benereich to enact various operations and assaults upon the Wicked Witch of Greerton. As a result of her influence, electronic devices are generally unreliable in this claim, although they are significantly more usable than in Site "16" Sinclair.

Zone Innen (Tauranga South Territorial Holdings)

Zone Innen includes the industrial heartland of the Benreich, and is the de jure Capital zone of The Republic - a bustling centre of activity at nearly all times. It has also been the centre for the most conflict in all of the micronation due to its inclusion of Rat Island.

Matapihi Railway Bridge

This bridge was claimed to prevent enemy access to the Benereich-controlled harbour area. Not only does it include a railway track for large-scale cargo/weapons transportation, but it also includes a passenger trail for pedestrian footsoldier traffic in the area. This bridge, as a result of Research and Development interference, allegedly has approximately 4000 lbs (or 1814 kg) worth of TNT-equivalent explosives layered through its structure.

Site "77" Turret Peninsula

This is arguably one of the most well-defended locations in the Benereich, being deep within contested territory as well as containing the Benerian Armed Forces high command room. It also is the central barracks for the Benerian Special Operations Command during preparations for military exercises and operations. As such, the Benereich considers the claim invaluable and patrols it relentlessly.

Site "67" Grace

A complementary defensive instalment to other Tauranga South Territorial Holdings, Site "67" Grace also includes the Benerian Armed Forces General Barracks.

Memorial Park

This location includes Benerian Armed Forces Training Grounds, as well as a recreation zone for soldiers in the Benereich. This land is primarily used for its coastal holdings and is paramount for the Benerian Navy to access, as the nearest alternative point would be Site "77" Turret; too far for efficient military operation in such heavily contested territory.

Pak'N'Save Compound

A heavily fortified location, the Pak'N'Save Compound contains the food reserves of the Benereich, as well as ample employment opportunities for Benerian civilians.

Rat Island

One of the most heavily contested pieces of territory in The Benereich, Rat Island (or Motuopuhi) is a Benerian military training ground and resort. It stands as a testament to the Benerian Armed Forces’ capabilities - two wars were fought by The Republic for its control, and both were won. Rat Island is roughly 100 metres away from Site “77”, and also contains The Benereich Homeless Shelter.

Benerian Air Force Holdings

The Benerian Air Force holdings are not given an administrative zone due to being nearly entirely under the jurisdiction of the Benreian Armed Forces (specifically, its air force).

Redhaven

Redhaven is where the Benerian Air Force manages its operations. It is one of the most highly advanced compounds in the Benereich, with the location including submersibles, reconnaissance drones, light transportation devices, and a trained guard dog. Due to the significance and tactical advantages present in this location, Redhaven's influence is far wider than most of The Republic's claims, stretching through much of the Bethlehem locale.

Tauranga Airport

As the Benereich is the only micronation in Tauranga with a functioning air force, it was a simple endeavour to gain and maintain control over the location. If at any point a hostile takeover of the area occurs, the Benerian Air Force simply uses kamikaze techniques to annihilate any visible enemies on the runway and surrounding areas. This is also where the Benereich launches and lands aircraft (naturally).

Wahi Air Force Base

The Benerian Air Force has a base in Wahi, which also doubles as Lennox Guderian’s private holiday home. The Wahi Air Base is also a common location for the Benerian Navy to practise swimming and naval operations, although the lack of other micronations means it is not a highly fortified location.

Outer Claims

These claims are on the outer reaches of The Benereich and are of lesser importance overall, being so separated they cannot be included in a formal zone. However, the unique features and the benefits that having faraway territories brings to The Republic cannot be understated in this article.

Omokoroa Claims

The Benereich claims four lifestyle estates in Omokoroa, which are largely used for recreational purposes such as leisure and walks. One estate contains some orchards for luxury goods such as oranges, lemons, tangerines, and apples, while another contains farm animals such as sheep.

Ohauiti Claims

Here the Benereich keeps its land vehicles testing site and automotive engineering base of operations.

Wellington Claims

The Republic of the Benereich claims one military base in Wellington, which is extremely beneficial due to its proximity to the macronation of New Zealand’s parliament building. Wesley von Dookington personally visits the base once every few years to ensure that Benerian personnel are keeping standards and quality high. The base is also home to a K-9 Unit.

Hauraki Gulf Claims

The Benereich claims territory in Auckland, as Madock Walker personally has an estate in the area. Following a four-day naval expedition by Wesley von Dookington aboard the world-famous Steinlager 2, multiple islands in the Hauraki Gulf were claimed under the flag of The Benereich, that being: Kawau Island, famous for its Manor House Bay and copper mine, Motuora Island, known for its Kiwi population, and Rotoroa Island, known for being a alcoholic rehabilitation centre in its distant past. Negotiations are currently in place with foreign micronations in the Coalition of United Micronations for access to one square metre of territory on Great Barrier Island.
