The Sovereign Kingdom of Acalia, more commonly known as Acalia, is a micronation located in the United Kingdom and the Argentine Republic... The first paragraph should contain relevant information about location, significant subdivisions, and a brief history.
The second paragraph should give a brief overview of the nation's politics and governance.
The third paragraph should give an overview of the nation's relation to the broader micronational movement and the nation's foreign policy.
Etymology
The Sovereign Kingdom of Acalia derives its name from the esteemed deity Acala, a figure steeped in reverence and awe within the realms of spiritual belief. Acala, although categorized as a minor deity, assumes a profound significance within the intricate tapestry of religious cosmology. Often depicted as a venerable messenger or devoted acolyte of the exalted Buddha Vairocana, Acala embodies qualities of steadfastness, determination, and divine guardianship.
History
The Sovereign Kingdom of Acalia, seizing its moment of historical significance, boldly declared independence on March 25th, 2024, swiftly followed by the drafting and ratification of its Constitution on the same day. In a brief but pivotal moment, the Constitution birthed the nation's inaugural legislative body, the Constitution Council of Acalia, which, though fleeting, symbolized the dawn of democratic governance. However, this council's ephemeral existence lasted a mere 17 minutes before yielding to the establishment of the enduring institution, the Royal Assembly of Acalia.
Politics and government
Insert a brief description of your nation's government, its parts, and their functions.
Early government
The Early Government of the Sovereign Kingdom of Acalia consisted of a legislature called the Constitution Council of Acalia, which was created under the Constitution and in it's existence time of only 17 minutes passed two Act which included: The Act for the Legalization of the Commercial Use of National Symbols which allowed the legalization of National Symbols to be used for Commercial Purposes , The second and final Act of the Constitution Council of Acalia was The Constitution Council of Acalia Dissolution Act which disbanded the Council and instead formed the Royal Assembly of Acalia.
Monarch
Within the Sovereign Kingdom of Acalia, the Monarch assumes a dual role, serving not only as the ceremonial Head of State but also as the esteemed Head of the Acalian Armed Forces, symbolizing both the nation's unity and its defense. Currently reigning over Acalia is His Majesty Jakob I, who ascended to the throne at the pivotal moment of the country's declaration of independence.
Prime Minister
As the Prime Minister of Acalia, the incumbent assumes a pivotal dual role within the nation's governance. Firstly, the Prime Minister serves as the Head of Government, responsible for overseeing the implementation of policies, managing the administration, and directing the executive branch of the government. Secondly, the Prime Minister acts as the Leader of their respective Political Party, wielding influence and authority within the party's ranks. The current Prime Minister is The Great Hon. Oliver Stawizzi who is the Leader of the Acalian Communist Party and became Prime Minister when the nation declared independence.
Royal Assembly
The Royal Assembly stands as Acalia's singular legislative body, comprising representatives from government ministries, the armed forces, and elected regional officials. The Royal Assembly embodies the diverse voices and interests of the nation while ensuring comprehensive representation across all sectors of Acalian society.
Political parties
Within Acalia's political landscape, two distinct parties dominate the discourse: the Acalian Communist Party and the Loyalist Party. The Acalian Communist Party advocates for Marxist principles and envisions a Communist Monarchy, emphasizing egalitarianism and collective ownership of resources. In contrast, the Loyalist Party champions Progressivism, aligning with the reign of HM Jakob I and advocating for gradual social reforms.
