The Socialist Republic of Liberia (SRL), more commonly known as Liberia (Portuguese: Libéria), is a micronation in Southwestern Europe. It consists of parts of the Chairman's house. Liberia borders only Portugal. The international border is protected by a 4 meter tall brick wall with a fence, however there is free circulation within the house.

Liberia is a socialist state, given the fact that its leader is a Marxist-Leninist. Liberia is a one-party state and the SPV (Socialist Party of Victory) is in power since the foundation of the country.

Etymology

"Liberia" comes from the Chairman's name "Libério". Libero means "free" in latin.

History

Chairman Henrique founded the SPV and the Socialist Republic of Liberia in 9 March 2024. The independence movement from Portugal was peaceful, with it lasting a day. Later on, in 15 March 2024 English, German and Russian were classified as official languages, along with Portuguese.

Politics and government

Liberia is a socialist republic, with it trying to emplement the teachings of Karl Marx and Lenin.

The legislative power in Liberia is exerted by the National Assembly.

The Chairman is in charge of the legislative power, executive power and the judicial power, as well as the Socialist Party of Victory. He can be considered a dictator by western standarts.

The SPV is a Marxist-Leninist party. It's in power since 9 March 2024.

Culture

The liberian culture has always been influenced by foreign cultures, such as the east german and soviet. The influence of other cultures is present in the national symbols, such as the flag and the national anthem.

The national animal is the cat and the national tree is the orange tree

9 March - Day of Liberia. A day to celebrate the foundation of the country

5 April - Easter. A day to gather with family and friends

25 April - Carnation Revolution (Portugal also). A day to celebrate the revolution that overthrew the right wing dictatotship in Portugal

1 May - May Day. A day to celebrate the working class

9 May - Day of Peace. A day to celebrate the defeat of fascism in WWII

7 November - October Day. A day to celebrate the October Revolution

25 December - Day of Family. A day to gather with and celebrate family and friends
