The Republic of Lebala, more commonly known as Lebala, is a micronation in North Carolina. Founded on 18 February 2024, Lebala is a newly formed democratic nation. It's capital & largest city, Ender City, is the site of the founding of Lebala. Lebala is predominantly Christian, and the estimated population is 13 as of February 2024.

Lebala has a congressional board, along with a President, and a Vice President. Lebalan Congress oversees & passes key legislation for Lebala, including the ability to declare war, establish diplomatic relations with a foreign nation, and economic policies. The Vice President oversees the Congressional board, and the President ratifies these laws. The President of Lebala also has the ability to veto any policies.

History

The Republic of Lebala declared independence from the United States on the 18th of February 2024. Its temporary constitution was ratified the next day, 19 February 2024. Since then, the micronation has grown in size, and now is home to 13 total citizens. Lebala's first congressman, Heroic, was appointed by President Metro on the 24th of February 2024.

The Lebalan Government is led by the President & The Vice President.

President

The President of Lebala is an official who oversees the entirety of Lebala. Its incumbent, President Metro, has been President ever since the establishment of the republic. The President ratifies key decisions made by members of congress and has the power to veto any legislation. The President is in charge of overseeing diplomatic relations as well. The President also oversees Lebala's military capabilities.

Vice President

The Vice President of Lebala is an elected official who oversees the members of Congress. The Vice President is also in charge of appointing members of Congress, as well as working closely with the President. A Vice Presidential term lasts 6 months. The Vice President will be inaugurated 2 weeks after election day.
