Use this guide with common sense and read it thoroughly; your article should be based on this guide but should not copy it verbatim. Source editing is greatly preferred over Visual Editing, as Visual Editor adds unnecessary elements to pages. Editing this guide in source will also help you familiarize yourself with wikitext and will allow you to see important technical functions that visual editor will omit.

  • Anything surrounded by <nowiki></nowiki> will force the software to display plain text. Remove it wherever it appears in this guide.
  • Parts of this guide intended to be filled in with your own info will be encased in single curly brackets: {example}
  • Text surrounded by <!-- and --> is a comment. These will tell the software to not include the enclosed content on the page entirely, and are present to help you as you're editing the page in source. Remove it after you have completed filling in the infobox and adding categories.

The Republic of Kohama, more commonly known as Kohama, is a micronation in {Canada}, the miconation is not formally mapped or measured, although the main landmass is estimated to be at least 2 km squared, here's a brief history: Kohama started off as an Absolute Monarchy, the Empire of Swordsland, the country went through several name periods before settling on Kohama, the name it has now. The Government of Kohama (as of 2023) is a Republic, although the leader (Leo Pelser) has never been voted out, as there are no other presidential candidates, the Government has been in other forms in the past, such as, a Socialist Dictatorship, and Absolute Monarchy. As a whole, Kohama is severely lacking national recognition, only being recognized by the Presidents best friend, if anyone sees this, feel free to email the President if you would like to arrange a time to write a letter of mutual recognition, here is the Presidents Email; leopeltzeryes@gmail.com

Etymology

The name Kohama was based off an island in Japan called Kohamajima, at the time of the creation of the name, the President was researching about Japan and stumbled across Kohamajima, removing the "jima" the nation became Kohama, from its previous name of Qibet, Kohama is currently the nations longest running name and government, second is the Empire of Kreigsimperium.

History

The Republic of Kohama started as the Empire of Swordsland, which was originally just an idea for a nerf war, was ruled by the Klassen-Mann House in this era of Kohamas history, after the Swordsland Era, there was Estria, which, President Leos partner micronation, Lerkrakegovnia (I probably spelt that wrong) really like the name, so when the Empire of Estia was demolished under Royalist uprisings, Lerkrakegovnia (current name) took it, after the Estrian Period (as its known by citizens) came the Kreigsimperium period, the second longest period in Kohamese history, having a period of 1 year, Kreigsimperium, as it was commonly known, had an official name, the Archduchy of Kreigsimperium, which the President was making a page for on Microwiki, although it was never fully published, and it was never finished either, after the Kreigsimperium Period it was is kind of all a blur of short lived communist republics, signifying the end of royal rule in the country, although, the last and longest living communist republic was the Qibetan Period, where the United People's Republics of Qibet lived in harmony for the third longest period in Kohamese History, it lasted for about 3 months before demolition after the Qibet-Federalist war, in which the federalists of the so-called "Republic of Free Kohama", the first introduction of the name Kohama, after the Kohamese Armed Guards beat the Qibetan Workers Liberation Force, peace was restored and the name Kohama is proudly spoken by all citizens. (Quick note, sorry if this timeline is patchy, its all kind of a blur cause of my bad memory -Leo Pelser, President of Kohama and Chairman of the Federal Party of Kohama)

You do not need this section unless your micronation previously recognized states that are now defunct. Format this list like the other three above.

Administrative regions

Explain your nation's claim system, and the various types of constituencies your nation may have, for example, the difference between a district and a territory. It is preferred that you do not discuss each constituency in this section. Instead, the names of each constituency in the table should be linked to their own separate articles. You can add and remove columns as you wish, but generally, include fields for the flags (which should be kept small, at most 100px wide (less if more rows listed) and have a border), name, and important fields such as area, population, governor and/or representative (or equivalent position). You do not need to include a column for a seal, flag, or coat of arms for each constituency if it they do not have one.
