The Republic of Kaihatsu (Malay : Republik Kaihatsu), more commonly known as Kaihatsu, is a micronation in an island at the South China Sea. It declared its independence on 6 February 2022 after the Republic of Wadwe crisis.
Kaihatsu formerly was a state in the Sultanate of Wadwe (June until October 2021) and the Republic of Wadwe (October 2021 until February 2022). During February 2022, a crisis happened in the Republic of Wadwe. The crisis ended after the republic has split into four smaller countries, Kaihatsu, Payoh, Yuksan and Malim. On 6 February 2022, Kaihatsu merged with the State of Hinamimoto and officially gained its independence.
The current president of Kaihatsu is His Excellency Wadwe. He is the second president and was appointed on 28 February 2022. Now the country is defunctioning because of lack of member and time. [[Category:Kaihatsu]], [[Category:Micronations in Asia]], [[Category:Micronations established in 2022]]
