The Republic of Ausburia, more commonly known as Ausburia, is a micronation that was founded on March 17, 2023 in North America. It is surrounded by Florida, United States.
The Republic of Ausburia is a democratic republic.
Etymology
The name "Ausburia" comes from the word "ausbury" which means "fortified place" and with an -ia suffix. The word may come from the surname “Ausburn” which is a variant of the English name “Osborn.” It is possible this name comes from two Old Norse words: áss (god), bjǫrn (bear). The word “bear” roots back to the Old English “beorn” meaning “warrior.”
History
It was inspired by a fictional country made for a fictional planet with the same name. It was created by Luke, the founder of Ausburia.

The Republic of Ausburia was founded after President Luke found out about micronations, and was inspired to start his own. It began with a single room being claimed. He made a national bank, national library, and a early design of the Ausburian flag.
March 23, 2023
Luke claimed more land and regions started. The first three original regions were Deleen, Amek, and Chapman.
Early October
The nation would be abandnoned for months until Luke started with the establishment of two more regions, named Rosa and Foxton. Deleen was renamed to Streamton to better fit the nation. A new region was established, it was named Chance. It was the first ever region to be located in nature: in the outdoors.
Politics and government
Ausburia is a democratic republic.
Election process
All elections for electives are created from the votes from citizens. The voting is sorted by region, and if one elective is voted for over the other, the region will be defined as a supporter of the elective. All the reginons will be looked at, and if more regions support one over the other, that elective is ratified. If the vote count results in being a hung election, all votes are recount in the same process.
President
The president of Ausburia is Luke T. (Luke) and is also the founder of Ausburia.
Foreign relations
The Republic of Ausburia was formerly apart of a commonwealth named the Imperial Commonwealth (Not to be confused with This commonwealth.) It mainly has diplomatic ties with members of the commonwealth.

Ausburia's geographical feautures consists of flat ground and small hills. Ausburia has a forest in the Chance region.
Weather
The weather is typically around 70-96 degrees fahrenheit (21-35.6 degrees celsius).
Economy
Ausburia has no foreign trade or places for the exchange of goods and services, however a currency named Pawstone is purposed and may one day be officially used. A shop in the Chance region is planned to be built, and the shop will be online.
Culture
Ausburia has not developed very rich culture, as the nation is young.
Language
The recognized languages spoken in Ausburia are English and French. A non-recognized spoken language is Toki Pona.
