The People's Republic of Yangjia, more commonly known as Yangjia, is a transcontinental micronation in both Europe and Asia.
Yangjia is founded upon a one-party socialist state, observing Deng Xiaoping Theory as its "Great National Ideology".
Yangjia is an isolationist state, but also heavily militarist.
Etymology
Yangjia comes from a Chinese town name from antiquity of the same name (Yangjia).
History
Yangjia has no current history to report, having been established on 20 May 2023.
Politics and government
Yangjia observes a unitary one-party socialist republic.
President of Yangjia
The President is the figurehead and de jure head of state, while the real power lies in the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Yangjia, who is the de facto head of state and also the de jure head of the Communist Party of Yangjia. It is customary that one person will hold both titles, as well as the titles of Chairman of the Council of Commandery of the People's Armed Forces of Yangjia and Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of Yangjia.
Vice President
The Vice President acts as the de facto head of government, while officially there is no allotted role. It can "commandeer" sessions of the People's Congress if needed, for example if the Chairman of the People's Congress is unfit or unable to attend, and is surpassed in hierarchy only by the President.
