The Oregon Navy, Officially The Navy of The United Oregon Republic is The Naval warfare Service Branch Of The United Oregon Republic. The Navy is The Largest Branch Of The Oregon Defence Force With 4 personnel currently serving and has the Largest Budget Of All Branches. The Primary Responsibilities Of The Navy Are National Defence, Scientific Exploration, Disaster Relief, And Maritime (mostly) Border Protection and Law Enforcement. The Naval infantry Are the Main Combat Force on Land and in coastal areas due To the Country’s Lack of an Army.

History

The Current Navy was Founded in 2024 By the Paper of Somerset. The Navy was The First Branch To be fully established. Before The Oregon Navy was The Dogoist navy, The naval service of The republic of Lavender. This navy operated The ORV world explorer, The former flagship of The Navy. The Navy is currently able To operate in and around Lakes, Creeks and Rivers, But is not capable of operating on The ocean. When The Connie islands district was established in April 2024, The Nation planned to Expand the Navy to operate on the Creek, But no such action has been taken to this day Because of the difficulties of accessing the District.

Operations

Although The main Adjective of the Oregon Navy is National Defence and securing The Nations Claims,Although The Nations Status as a micronation means that the Navy has To fit other roles as well Such as transporting Mail and other Cargo, and serving As a coast guard. The Oregon Navy has never seen Combat at sea, and mostly does training exercises in Waters Around the Nations claimed territories. The Navy takes the responsibility as the nations fire department, although Only one Water gun is At the disposal of the Oregon Navy.

Leadership

The Admiral Of The Navy Holds supreme leadership over all of the navy, Although they should report to the minister of Defence, The current Minister of Defence is Inactive and their is no one that can replace the post currently. The Current Admiral Of The Navy is Lord Governor A.B the Terrible, The Commander in chief of The Defence Force and The Admiral of The Navy are two separate posts, But the Governor Declared himself admiral Upon the founding of The nation in March of 2024.

The Navy is Divided into 3 groups, The Naval infantry, The Naval fleet, And the Coast Guard, The Coast guard is not a separate entity And uses Boats shared with the Naval Fleet For Operations. The Naval infantry are similar To Marines, however they are not restricted To coastal and amphibious Warfare And Patrol The mainland U.O.R as well.

The Oregon Navy has Operated A variety of Creek, Lake, And river worthy Vessels since 2020. The Navy currently has no vessels in active service as of June 2024.

The Navy has expressed interest in Establishing a Naval aviation force, However the current Navy does not have the means to establish one. The U.O.R’s air force currently works alongside the navy when Air support is needed. The Navy has many “Spy balloons” at its disposal, Which are actually kites, however these are not usually used.
