The Micronationalist Union (MU) is an intermicronational organisation that began as a project of the Kingdom of Agoga[1]. The project was formally launched in February 2023, and was announced in the Micronational Forum group on Facebook and the Agogan government’s website[2]. Membership is open to any “purpose-driven” micronation, which is defined on the website as micronations that “have a mission or set of goals that they hope to accomplish”[3].

The purpose of the MU is to foster cooperation in the micronational community by bringing micronations together to help each other reach their goals[4]. As of February 2023, the MU has two member states[5]. The charter of the MU requires at least three member states to be formally established, and Agoga is actively searching for interested micronations. Member states can appoint two citizens to have posting privileges on the news blog[6].
Membership is open to any “purpose-driven” micronations. Though the organisation is currently in the building stage, the website is active and looking for more member states. The application form to join the MU can be found here.
Current Member States As of February 2023, the member states of the Micronationalist Union are the Kingdom of Agoga and the African Republic
