Konrad von Staufen (born 4 December 2000) is a Ljetzan politician who is the 1st and current chancellor of Ljetzan since 1 July 2023.
Early life and education
Von Staufen attended Ljetzan Grammar School in Ljetzan from 2006 to 2015 and received a business baccalaureate. He later studied business administration at the universities of St. Gallen and Munich and graduated with a degree in economics (lic. oec. publ.) from the University of Munich.
From 2020 to 2023, he was a board member at a Ljetzan forum for drafting the Constitution of the Principality, which was approved in July of the same year.
Political career
Following the 2023 Ljetzan general election, he was nominated as Chancellor of Ljetzan in a coalition government with the Christian Union.

Von Staufen has supported increased cooperation and integration between Micronation Union and Grand Unified Micronational with in the principality; in addition to further progress to cut down on prices and taxes. His government has spearheaded Ljetzan’s support for Ukraine in the wake of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, starting in February 2022.
In June 2024, Von Staufen already announced that he would not be running for re-election in the 2027 Ljetzan general election.
Personal life
Since its foundation in 2021, Von Staufen has been a member of the Organising Committee and Patronage Body of the Ljetzan Literary Festival, which takes place each year in September.
