Knock the Pipe is a national team sport in the Scorpion-Zyamfranzan Union of which two teams of 15 players each pass two balls with the aim to throw one of the balls to the opponent's pipe. A standard match lasts two periods of 20 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins.

It was invented by Ezra Nadaniyel Samson in March 2023, the same date that it was officially adopted by the SZU as a national sport. The UNR, AGM, SZU, and almost all of the rest of UCCOSZRT and NMUA consider it as a national sport. The Federalist Republic of Kyirusia is the only UCCOSZRT member that doesn't consider it as a national sport.

Knock the Pipe is played in a court of 105 by 68 metres (344 ft by 23 ft) with a pipe in the middle of the semi-circle, which is in the middle of each end. The game is usually played indoors, but outdoor variants exists, such as Hall Knock the Pipe.

How to play

The goal is to knock the pipe using a ball. There are two balls, one for each team. There are two positions in the game, attacker and defender. Attackers must try to knock down the opponent's pipe, while the defenders defend the pipe from getting knocked down. Grabbing the ball from the opponent's hand is not allowed. You can only catch the ball when an opponent tries to throw the ball to the pipe or another person.

There are two semicircles, one for each team. The semicircle is the place where the pipe will be placed. However, you are not allowed to go inside the semicircle when you are attacking the pipe. If the ball misses the pipe, one of the teammates whose pipe was getting knocked, will grab the ball and continue the game.

Kicking, punching, biting, tackling, pushing and pulling are considered as fouls. If you commit a foul, you get a yellow or red card.
