The Kingdom of Ferelend, more commonly known by locals as Ferelend, is a micronation in the Americas. It was founded in 2020 by the current ruler, Imperator Ryan I after the Republic of Venetria underwent a political succession crisis. Today, Ferelend has a total population of around 20 people and currently has very little territory.

Currently ruled by a Constitutional Monarchy, the kingdom has Two monarchs, resulting in a Dual Monarchy and better political stability within the government.

History

The Kingdom of Ferelend was founded on the 21st of February 2020 when the Republic of Venetria, founded 2019, collapsed due to political instability and succession crisis. One of the candidates to the Presidency of Venetria was Imperator Ryan I, now monarch of Ferelend. He decided to leave Venetria, which collapsed later on the 20th of December, 2019. On the 21st of February, Imperator Ryan I and Caesar Rylan Woo both declared independence from the United states of America and created the Kingdom of Ferelend.

On the 22nd of February, one day after independence, the two monarchs ratified the Ferelendian Constitution, which was immediately put into effect that same day. Soon after, the Ferelendian Legal Code, the governing code of Ferelend, was immediately planned and to this day, is still in writing. By the 25th of December, 2023, the Ferelendian Legal Code is proposed to be finished by the Ferelendian Government.

Politics and government

The Ferelendian government is ruled by two monarchs, who share powers to equal and balance the powers of the government. This idea was taken from the old Roman empire where in the senate was two consuls so one did not get too powerful.

According to the Ferelendian Constitution, both onarchs have the power to propose and veto bills, acts, and laws. Both monarchs also have the power to do anything with Parliaments approval.

Law and order

The Ferelendian Judicial system is quite similar to the United States Judicial System. The Judicial is divided into the Imperial Court, National Assembly, General Assembly, and the City Court.

The Ferelendian Guard, or the military, is mostly ceremonial but is trained to be able to fight in real-time wars when required.

Economy

Ferelend's main source of revenue comes from tourism, like most other micronations. Most Ferelendian industries are focused around tourism but also in healthcare and education along with technology.

The Feremark is the official currency of Ferelend along with the Ferelendian Cent.

Culture

Ferelend is a religiously tolerant country but is an official Sanamahism nation, with the official religion as Sanamahism. As such, all holidays are Sanamahist festivals, Christian festivals, few Hindu festivals, few Muslim festivals, and few Jewish festivals.
