The Kingdom of Charlisby, more commonly known as Charlisby, is a micronation in Surrey. The Kingdom of Charlisby was founded by Charles Lenkijavic on 8 April 2022, many processes went through prior the making of Charlisby, however Charles Lenkijavic coined the alias and stuck by the word after the collapse of the Empire of Charlisby.
The Kingdom of Charlisby is dependent on the trust of his peers when the situation comes to politics. Charlisby is referred to as a Unitary constitutional monarchy which provides the right of democracy in Charlisby to vote for the Prime Minister they desire. The legislature of Charlisby, consist of the House of Lords and House of Commons.
Charlisby is a consistent reminder of brotherhood to some micronations they consider themselves close counterparts. Charlisby has further diplomatic relations with the Gorthian Federation, foreign policy in Charlisby is moderate with terms, and is not destined to exceed further nor decline.
Etymology
The origin of the name Charlisby was coined by Charles Lenkijavic on 20 November 2021 due to the foundation of the Empire of Charlisby, the name derives from Old Norse origin of Charles’s settlement, hence the -by at the end of the name. Due to ethnic background, Charles Lenkijavic adopted the name sincerely.
History
On 25 December 2017, the first considered artefacts of Charlisby were found, with a young Charles Lenkijavic adopting a square flag with four colours in stripes, later it was profoundly known as “the Circus Flag” by many colleagues of Charlisby. On 20 November 2021, the Empire of Charlisby was founded due to the abdication of King Charles I, which gave Karlson Andersen the right to the throne. An absolutist when he came to power, he abolished the parliament. On 4 May 2022, the Kingdom of Charlisby succeeded after Charles Lenkijavic negotiated with Karlson I to pass the throne’s honour. 7 July resumed many fortunate events for Charlisby improving their foreign policy, diplomatic relations began with some micronations that still remain ties with Charlisby. The history of Charlisby between 10 July and 22 September was considered the dark age due to a substantial turn of events which adamantly changed the future of Charlisby.
Politics and government
Charlisby is infamously known for going through a series of political sessions, many not lasting long, but famously, the monarchy, is hailed by the governors of regions in Charlisby and is heavily praised upon. The monarchy has no sincere authority over the legislature except for the overall power to abolish the parliament itself.
Admnistrative regions
The regions inside Charlisby are determined by ethnic background origin. The regions are referred to as Carolusia, Yochanna and Dionysusia. The regions are also coined as constituent countries, which formally have their own organised parliament and parties, however, all of the regions have the right for independence via referendum.
Economy
The economy of Charlisby is a pivotal part. With all governors in Charlisby who contribute to the economy it is in a staggering amount, Charlisby is famously known in the area to export sweets and drinks occasionally at their respective schools. Which consist heavily of the current GDP.
Culture
The culture of Charlisby is very diverse depending where you’re standing. Carolusians are a derivation of Germanic culture, consisting of holidays such as Midsummer Day. Yochannans are heavy lovers of St Patrick’s Day due to their Celtic ethnic background, and whereas for Dionysusians they’re profoundly known for celebrating famous Christian holidays which are determined by Eastern Orthodox tradition. United as one, however, Charlisby is free to accept any cultures of course.
