Etymology

The name Maleyi comes from the words Maleia/Maleea which means "Forgotten Place", the words originates from the words Uyan Khatan which mean Flexible from the Mongol Language. After the Mongol conquests of 1200's the word Maleea got it's own conotation meaning The Forgotten Place, because most mongols living in the area did not know about the riches of the land.

History

1242 - The First Mongol Horde invaded the lands of Maleyi 1351 - Hungarians start to exploit the Maleea/Maleia lands because they firstly found quality coal 1355 - First Battles of independence for Maleyi 1444 - First Organizations of the Maleyi Khanate under the Hungarian rule 1669 - Independence War against Hungarians, results in Hungarian victory 1701 - The first coal mine was made in the area, resulting in mass industrialization in the area 1834 - First writings about the Revolutionary Ideas of Maleyi, inspired by the French Revolution 1910 - Maleyi People are forced to work as miners for the Romanian Government 1990 - Landlords start buying sections of the land to use it for lumberjacking 2017 - Protests against Climate Change and Wildlife Destruction began 2018 - The Khanate of Maleyi becomes independent, full sovereignty granted over certain areas 2019 - Constitution Ratified, Cultural Revolution 2022 - Mass Exploration and Wildlife Protection Campaigns
