Jollaria (/dʒəˈlæriə/), officially the Jollarian Federation, is a micronation located in the southeastern United States. The micronation does not have any open-sea access. It covers an area of 1.13 acres. Most of Jollaria has the same climatic and geological conditions and has a landscape consisting largely of semiarid plains. The capital and largest city is Jollex. Jollaria is divided into three administrative divisions.
Jollaria is a federal republic run by a dual-dictatorship. The micronation holds elections about every 4 months to elect the new Supreme Leader. The two most prominent parties in Jollaria are the Nationalist Party and the Maxist Party. State-run businesses power most of the nation's GDP. Jollaria has a unicameral legislature, the Supreme Ruling Council, which currently consists of six members. This council is also partially involved in the Jollarian Judiciary System.
Jollaria has never been properly introduced to the micronational community. It has made partial relations with other informal micronations in the past.
Etymology
The Jollarian Federation's name comes from its origins as a currency, the Jollar. This word comes from the first initial of Presidentincorporated's name and the word "dollar". This became Jollaria, or the "land of the Jollar", which eventually became the Jollarian Federation.
History
Early history
Jollaria, before becoming a micronation, was a bank known as the Jollar Central Bank. Founded on 6 September 2023, the bank's purpose was to manage the circulation of the national currency, the Jollar. The Jollar became a national symbol of stability and progress, as a strong economy grew. This entity was the beginnings of modern-day Jollaria.
With a growing economy and population, a governing body was necessary. To fulfill this need, the Jollarian Supreme Ruling Council (JSRC) was formed around 21 September 2023, when independence was declared. The council was tasked with managing the nation's finances, drafting and enforcing laws, and maintaining the stability of the economy. Presidentincorporated, one of Jollaria's earliest members, played a significant role in the creation of this council. The JSRC rapidly became the central authority of the country and collaborated with the Jollar Central Bank to manage the economy of Jollaria.
Era of modernization
The JSRC founded a new role: the Jollarian Supreme Leader (JSL). Presidentincorporated emerged as the micronation's first notable leader, taking up both roles. His leadership helped to guide the country's development and modernization into its current state. Under his leadership, Jollaria took its first steps towards a functional micronation. Presidentincorporated sought to dramatically stabilize the political and economic areas of the country. He worked to expand the influence of the Jollar Central Bank, by creating a redesign of the Jollar, as well as doubling the population through incentives.
As Jollaria grew, there was a greater push for a democratic election process. The first election for position of Jollarian Supreme Leader took place on 6 March 2024. This election marked a turning point of the micronation, as it was the first time the people had a say in the government. The leading candidates were Presidentincorporated, Max Rosales, and Krabberz. Voting lasted for two days, with ballots closing around noon on 8 March. Krabberz won the election by a landslide, making promises such as gambling and tax acts. This power transition helped to shift the Jollarian government from a centralized authority to a more inclusive political structure. Krabberz would go on to win again in the April elections of the same year.
2024 Hyperinflation Scandal
In one of the most notable episodes in Jollaria's economic history, Alex Holloway, a member of the Jollarian Supreme Ruling Council, became the nation’s first millionaire, sparking widespread financial upheaval. Holloway, originally appointed to the council, leveraged his political influence within the Jollar Central Bank and strategically amassed wealth. His fortune reached unprecedented heights when gambling was legalized, allowing him to place a high-stakes bet of 5 million deci Jollars on a loan. However, the legality of this bet was disputed by the then Jollarian Supreme Leader, Presidentincorporated, who denied its official existence, escalating the matter into a widely publicized legal battle.
The case eventually went before the Jollarian Ruling Council Court, where Holloway, represented by prominent lawyers Max Rosales and Krabberz, challenged the Judicial Branch. The court’s decision to rule in Holloway’s favor granted him the 5 million deci Jollars and cemented his status as Jollaria’s first millionaire. This sudden concentration of wealth, however, triggered a period of hyperinflation that sharply devalued the currency, causing economic hardship for Jollarian citizens. In response, Presidentincorporated negotiated the partial recovery of Holloway's fortune, redistributing 2 million deci Jollars to the public in an attempt to stabilize the economy.
Restoration of power and coup rumors
By June 2024, Krabberz had stepped down as Jollarian Supreme Leader, and power transferred to Presidentincorporated. This move was kept quiet and much of the micronation was outraged. Presidentincorporated did nothing of particular interest during his second reign as Jollarian Supreme Leader.
In August 2024, rumors spread that Max Rosales planned to overthrow the government. In order to protect his position, Presidentincorporated sued Max Rosales on behalf of Jollaria over the possibility of treason. Max Rosales was found guilty and was fined. Later that month, however, he was voted into office as the fourth Jollarian Supreme Leader.
Politics and government
Government
Jollaria is a democratic dual-dictatorship federal republic. It hosts executive, legislative, and judicial branches of government. Executive power is shared between the Eternal Supreme President and the Jollarian Supreme Leader. Jollarian Supreme Leader is the only elected role in government and has no term limit.
The Eternal Supreme president serves as head of government and commander-in-chief of armed forces. This title is hereditary. The Jollarian Supreme Leader serves as head of state. The unicameral Jollarian Supreme Ruling Council is the legislative organization of Jollaria, consisting of six members at any time.
Early government
In the beginning of the nation, the sole government office was that of the Eternal Supreme President. The roles of Jollarian Supreme Leader and Supreme Ruling Council were later added.

Formerly recognized
You do not need this section unless your micronation previously recognized states that are now defunct. Format this list like the other three above.
Administrative regions
Explain your nation's claim system, and the various types of constituencies your nation may have, for example, the difference between a district and a territory. It is preferred that you do not discuss each constituency in this section. Instead, the names of each constituency in the table should be linked to their own separate articles. You can add and remove columns as you wish, but generally, include fields for the flags (which should be kept small, at most 100px wide (less if more rows listed) and have a border), name, and important fields such as area, population, governor and/or representative (or equivalent position). You do not need to include a column for a seal, flag, or coat of arms for each constituency if it they do not have one.
