Introduction to the micronation

The Greater State of Mochia is a self-declared micronation located on the Usedom Islands. Founded on 14th of August 2023, Mochia has established itself as a sovereign entity with its own culture, history, and government.

Etymology

The name "Mochia" comes from Mochian dialect and means "Seashore". Which corelates to the area where the nation is situated, the coast of Usedom Islands.

History

The history of the Greater State of Mochia dates back to its founding on August 14 2023. It was established by Current President Oskar K. with the aim of creating an utopia where all citizens live on the same level, regardless of their financial wellbeing . Since its inception, Mochia has undergone various developments and changes, including: First ever presidential elections in August 15th 2023, which Dominik O. won with 53% of supporting votes and First Mochian Super League match, between Resovia Reds and Mochia Monarchs which ended in a 3-3 draw.

Politics and government

Mochia operates under a Technosocialist party named "Technosocialist Party of Mochian People" led by current President Dominik O. which will rule untill January 1st 2024.

Law and order

The legal system of Mochia is based on Polish and EU laws. It aims to create a safe space for people to live in, without worries of heavy taxes and impossible prices of housing and standard human needs such as food. Law enforcement is carried out by Mochian Security Administration, MSA for short.

Foreign relations

Despite its small size, Mochia is committed to maintaining diplomatic relations with other micronations. As of now, we're currently in the process of sigining a diplomacy between us and Kingdom of Salanda

Military

Our Military power is as of now small, hosting 7 our of 15 current members of the Nation.
