The Democracy of Atlantia, more commonly known as Atlantia, is a micronation in Antigua and Barbuda. It is a micronation devoted to peace, and declared independece on 4 December 2023. It garnered its name as it is close to the estimated spot of Atlantis, as perceived in ancient mythology. It is a micronation, and formed out of Antigua and Barbuda. The country is located in the carribean, hence the name. It is a small island, and has no habitants.

The nation is a Democracy, with close resemblance to the United States. The current sitting president is H.B. Luther, and he was elected first president of Atlantia, at the time of its indepence. The current Secondary President is Cristiano Ronaldinho, and has also been first Secondary President since indepence. The country also utilizes a parliament system, with the highest being the House of Intelligence and the lowest the Grand Floor.

The nation is a micronation, and does not have much ties with other micronations. The country is devoted to human rights, and makes huge efforts towards them in foreign policies. These include, helping reduce racism, segregation, and more. The country drives off tourism, as it is a beautiful carribean island. National parks, recreational areas, and trees make the countries population very low.

Etymology

The origins of the name Atlantia come from the works of Plato, and Atlantis. It is perceived by the first president of Atlantia that the country is in fact, Atlantis. Atlantis is a greek word, meaning Island of Atlas. It became a nation after an false attempt to conquer Ancient Athens, and fell out of favor with the deities and submerged into the Atlantic Ocean.

History

The micronation is based in the island of Redonda, and Redonda was annexed into Antigua and Barbuda by Parish of Saint John in 1872. Redonda is a spanish word, that means round. This denotes the shape of Redonda. Redonda formed out of an ancient volcano, and there is no source of fresh water, only rain.

Politics and government

The president of Atlantia is tasked with handling all acts of government. The Secondary president is tasked with assisting the sitting president. The House of Intelligence is tasked with handling individual states, and the Grand Floor with individual cities, and laws.

President

The president is able to act on any form of government, if deemed necessary by the secondary president. The presidents main actions are handling conflicts, pursuing human rights and equality, technology involvement and military gaining.

Secondary President

The Secondary president is tasked with assisting the President. It is the secondary presidents job to handle the House of Intelligence, as well as the Grand Floor. The secondary president can also create laws that do not need to pass the House or Floor, but only the president.

Law and order

The nation has a Police, and a military. They are in charge of keeping the country safe.

Military

There is three military branches. Naval, Army, Warriors. The Naval is in charge of water safety, and water attacks. The army, is in charge of land. And the warriors, are able to go into any, but are only used in special occasions.

Administrative regions

The nation claims the land of Redonda, and Redonda only.

Geography and climate

The climate is very normal, and light, as it usually is around 85 degrees.

Economy

The biggest export of the country is Rice. The country has some very rich Hindu-Indian immigrants, that control the export system.

Culture

The only national holiday is Christmas. The 3 main languages are French, English, and Amharic. It is custom that each kid learn at least 2 of these before high school.
