The Formal Monarch Republic of Cetlandria, more commonly known as Cetlandria, is a micronation in Canada, with claims in Italy, Antarctica, and Africa. Cetlandrian autonomy was established on 2 July 2020, with the nation being established on 15 January 2023.

Cetlandria's online presence has only recently been noticed, as it was established in December 2023.

History

It was founded on 15 January 2023 but gained autonomy on 2 July 2020. Because of this, many people are often confused on when the nation was established, with allies included. Cetlandria has, since it's founding, established relations with numerous nations including Lislo and the Republic of Soupland.

Although Cetlandria is currently democratic, the government was technically regarded as anarchist for 3 hours after the country was created. This was due to a government needing to be made. They remain a party but have no seats.

Politics and government

The current government is a Formal Monarchy, a unique government system created by it's founder who goes by the alias 'Legendstar.' Due to this unique system, many parties have been formed in Cetlandria including those from very radical or unorthodox ideologies.

Economy

The economy is a traditional mixed economy. The government holds control over almost all of the economy, as little to no business has yet been established in Cetlandria. However, the government publicly only formally claims control over 8% of the economy.

Culture

The education is the same as in Canada. The culture is very diverse as many groups live here. It includes Pakistanis, Indians, Canadians, French, Italians, Sammaronise, and many more. Many micronational groups also hold citizenship in Cetlandria, including Gunakans, Sivlandians, and Elarians.

Law and order

Cetlandria includes rather unorthodox laws and policies to reflect its uniqueness as a micronation, including no pickles on pie, illegal to eat a horse, and not allowed to sing from 3:00 am - 4:00 am. Serious Cetlandrian law and policy are mostly dictated by Canada, their main macronation.

Military

Everyone is allowed to be in the military. This is thanks to the total defense act. Though there has been no war, the act is in place in case Cetlandria is ever attacked.

Administrative regions

The entire micronation is a city-state with Autonomous regions of Kirsilia, Chalvanita, Lahstonia and Meashilin. Kirsilia is located in the Bir Tawil and parts of Kenya. Chalvanita claims a thin strip of land in Antarctica under the Norwegian claims and also claims 10% of the Arctic. Lahstonia claims Ernst Thälmann Island. And Meashilin claims the Italian part of Cetlandria. There is an attempt for Meashilin to claim Darda and Apatin along the Serbia-Croatia border.
