The Deputy Prime Minister of Almoa is the deputy head of government and senior ministerial office in the Almoan cabinet. However, the deputy prime ministry is not an office that's always in use and can be used to denote a minister's seniority. The office was established along side the office of Prime Minister of Almoa on 7 April 2023.
Role
The DPM hasn't got any officially outlined role. However, they have certain duties that they carry out by convention:
- Standing in for the Prime Minister in Their Absence
- Representing the Prime Minister
- Developing Government Legislation
- Recommending Ministerial Nominations to the Prime Minister
Appointment
Like the prime minister, the deputy prime minister is appointed by the Monarch of Almoa. They are typically also a member of the House of Commons.
