Upon the closure of polls, the Centrist party declared victory, with President Mitchell announcing the appointment of Beau Callahan to the new position of National Judge. The Communists, who had reformed their party organization after it collapsed during the Irvington Civil War, condemned the election results, claiming them to be invalid due to an opposition boycott. Maya Jefferson, a former communist fighter, stated that there results were partially invalid because West Irvington and Darien were not included in parliamentary elections. Jefferson would on that day announce the founding of the Worker's Party, which was intended as a nonviolent means for former communist party members and others to peacefully express their wills.
