The Democratic Socialist Republic of New Russia, commonly known as New Russia, is a British micronation. It is governed as a Marxist-Leninist single-party state.
History
Eleven days after its foundation, another micronation, Sovicka, began to criticize the New Russian government. The Sovickans began to threaten New Russia over several days. In response, president Fawcett ordered the creation of an army, called the Red Army. The Red Army invaded Sovicka, which was annexed into New Russia under the name of the South County of New Russia
Geography
East County is the leading county of New Russia. Daneburg, the national capital, is located there. West County is the former location of Porea, which is covered by forests and swamps.
Government
The government of New Russia rules under communism and socialism, they set up taxes, laws and orders to keep the country safe. The New Russian government is somewhat strict. The constitution describes the Communist Party of New Russia as the "leading force of society and of the state". The First Secretary of the Communist Party of New Russia is concurrently the president of the Council of State (President of New Russia) and president of the Council of Ministers (sometimes referred to as Premier of New Russia). New Russia's national legislature, Congress of People's Assembly is the supreme organ of power. The Supreme Court of New Russia serves as the nation's highest judicial branch of government. It is also the court of last resort for all appeals against the decisions of provincial courts.
