The Country of Reddit is an online democracy simulator led by Lam Wilob where the people have free reign to roleplay, form political parties, run for office, and talk politics. The country operates through reddit on r/CountryOfReddit and all discussion takes place on discord through our server https://discord.gg/M2gvHe4.

Government and Politics
The Country of Reddit has a functional, democratic government that can get laws passed and a constitution.
The House of Redditors
The House of Redditors is the primary legislative body of The Country of Reddit
- 4 seats
- Elected through an STV vote on the 9th and the 21st of every month by all citizens
- Have option to draft a bill or to pick a proposal submitted by a citizen to the subreddit
- Once the discussion phase is over the first representative to vote on a bill will start the 24 hour time period for the other representatives to vote on it
- If representatives don't vote on it their vote is ignored

- Votes must pass the HoR by simple majority
- In case of a tie the vice president will vote
- May change change the constitution or draft a new one by a 4/4 vote from the House of Redditors
The Presidency
The President is the main foreign affairs ambassador and they have a role in the legislative process too
- Elected through a direct vote by the people on the 28th of each month
- Vice President may be appointed by the president
- Responsible for addressing all event situations throughout the country
- May establish relations with other micronations
The Public
The people of The Country of Reddit also have a tool to use to make laws
- Must submit a bill that get's atleast 15 votes with a 70% approval rating at the end of a 24 hour period
- Only thing that can stop this bill is a court overrule
Law and Order
The Country of Reddit have installed a system of law and order to ensure things run smoothly. To ensure this the moderators established a constitution to ensure no faults in the system.

Moderators job is too keep the country running

- Only serve as judges when passed by the government or a majority vote for the people
- Job is to enforce all laws
- May deny a law if it is crazy wacko

RP/The Game
One thing that makes CoR stand out is that it is very RP based. The moderators developed something we like to call "the game". They plan events in a text called "the codex" where random events will trigger for certain scenarios. Essentially the mods run it like a game of DnD that never ends. The mods do this so instead of just never-ending arguments and elections, more stuff will happen.
Economy
The economy in CoR is run by the discord bot "UnbeliveBoat". He serves as the primary banker and the distributor to all citizens of the country. Citizens can buy things with the country's currency, the creddit (Cr). The creddit's worth is equal to the euro. The country sells everything from a 6 Cr smashed potato, to a 25,000 Cr religious monument. All wealth in this country is taken care of by government officials where they will set the tax rate for the country and will distribute tax dollars. Every new member of the country starts out with 100,000 Cr to get started. Gambling is a serious problem in the country, as many citizens will put their entire net worth on one cock fight and typically end up losing everything they own. Owning different items is very important because random events planned by the mods will require owning some of these items and citizens may suffer consequences if they don't.
Geography
The Country of Reddit is an island in an ocean with a population of 219, it has many different kinds of terrain including a mountain range, swamp, desert, flatlands, and a lake. The island includes a handful of cities plus the ruins of Steniel's Church after the Danites attacked it. The longstanding Temple of Dan brings pride to many in the nation as it shows how Danism is still thriving even since day 1.
Foreign Relations
CoR has two foreign relations one being, Furland. The second President of CoR, Oparon, got a contact on officials of Furland and gave them the discord invite where they than raided Redditopia. This led to a complete border shutdown and ultimately the impeachment of Oparon when the furries came and confessed that they rigged the presidential election for him.
CoR has had a rocky relationship with the country of Aresia since it's founding in mid-January 2018. Aresia was founded as a nationstates based micronation server but quickly became a rival of CoR. Once the DanGodOfWhatever mod tyranny ended, Count Nick and Lam Wilbo looked to help increase relations between these two nations. By February 2018, these two nations had become friendly towards one another with some dual-citizenship allowed. Once the CoR civil war broke out, many Aresians where confused as to which side to pick; however, this confusion was quickly subdued once the CoR President, Markath, declared war on Aresia forcing them to leave CoR immediately. After that the Aresian Provional Government sided with the Confederate States of Redditopia in order to stop the current President.

While the CoR may be young when compared to other micronations, it certainly has a history to it.

- December 1–23, 2017 - Nick proclaims himself the first President but resigns before his term ends
- December 21st, 2017 - Political parties start being created
- December 27th, 2017 - Nick drafts new constitution after realizing old one was faulty
- December 28th, 2017 - First Presidential election, winner was socialist nord, Oparon, VP was fascist JudasMartyr
- December 29th, 2017 - Lord Dan explodes on some fascists, then proceeds to ban them and ruins the discord. Dan was banished and a new discord was created by Nick
- January 3rd, 2018 - First HoR election, won by 3 RNP reps and 1 independent
- January 3rd, 2018 - Biggest party, fascists, Phalynx collapses after they don't win a single seat after their only representative that one switched to independent.
- January 4th, 2018 - Vice President, Judas Martyr quits after party collapses
- January 6th, 2018 - Vice Presidential election won by Julius Fox
- January 5-11th, 2018 - Furry raid scheduled by the President and the truth comes out that he got the furries to bot the votes and get him elected, this led to him being impeached but not banished from the country
- January 12th, 2018 - Julius Fox inaugurated as President
- January 11-19th, 2018 - Dark age of mod neglect
- January 20-21st. 2018 - Janitorial Uprising, Head mod Former Owner Nick gives the whole thing over to Lord Dan after popular support demands it, mods SF and Typhlosion quit along with him. Lam Wilbo becomes moderator with Head Mod Lord Dan
- January 21–24, 2018 - Complete overhaul of the whole country, everything is redesigned
- January 24th, 2018 - Reopening of CoR
- January 29th, 2018 - Lord Dan is forced out of office, Lam takes over the moderative squad.
- February 3rd, 2018 - President Markath declares war on Aresia.
