The Confederacy of Apalona, or simply just Apalona, was a short lived self-declared sovereign state located in the US state of Kentucky. It was established on the 8 March 2022 after months of planning by Isaac J. White after the dissolution of the Republic of Tueoedeth. Apalona would go onto become inactive, as White would move on from micronationalism entirely.
Etymology
The name Apalona has no previous origin, however it was made to refer to the region the center of the nation is located.
History
Apalona was established on March 8 2022 by Isaac J. White months after the dissolution of the Republic of Tueoedeth. Apalona was founded on the belief that it would be "bigger and better than Tueoedeth ever could be" according to White.
