The Republic of Balzi operates as a unitary full presidential republic and follows a governance system similar to that of the Philippines. The term Community of Balzi reflects its role as a Community of Excellence, aiming to foster educational and political engagement among its members. Additionally, it denotes the collective group of Balzians who participate in and contribute to the Community’s goals of political education and engagement.

The Community of Balzi represents the Balzian commitment to enhancing political and educational engagement through structured simulations and programs. It provides a platform for understanding governance and political processes through interactive educational activities. The Community’s focus is on serving as a Community of Excellence by supporting students, learners, officials, aspiring lawyers, and volunteers.

Law-Abiding Community

The Community of Balzi operates as an educational and political simulation framework within the Republic of Balzi. It engages participants in a unitary full presidential republic model, following democratic processes. This setup is intended to enhance understanding and skills in governance and leadership, improve communication, and foster open-mindedness towards legislative and social issues.

Balzian activities and objectives are designed to align with educational purposes, without seeking political recognition or challenging national sovereignty. The Community pledges allegiance to the national sovereignty of the Philippines and views the pursuit of national recognition as both unrealistic and unnecessary.

The Community of Balzi is committed to maintaining its law-abiding status. It has never engaged in illegal activities such as raising unauthorized firearms or rebelling against national sovereignty, in accordance with Articles 134 and 138 of the Revised Penal Code and Republic Act No. 10591. [1] Additionally, it adheres to legal frameworks regarding citizenship, currency, and other regulations, as specified in Articles 315 to 318 of the Revised Penal Code and Section 50 of RA 7653.

Balzi’s activities are protected under the Philippine Constitution, specifically the freedom of association (Article III, Section Eight) and the right to peaceful assembly (Article III, Section 4). These rights allow the Community to organize virtual and physical gatherings, engage in political simulations, and promote its educational objectives.

The Community of Balzi remains focused on providing a platform for political and educational engagement through structured programs and simulations. It serves as a virtual-physical community that facilitates innovative and enjoyable learning experiences in governance.

Leadership

The leadership of the Community of Balzi consists of key figures who oversee its activities and programs. The current leadership includes:
