The Communist Republic of Baffin & Territories (The Baffin RAJ) is a micronation created by Afra J (full name not revealed for privacy reasons) on the 26th of September 2020. It claims ownership of the currently existing Baffin Republic. The deputy as well as the defence secretary of The Communist Republic of Baffin is A.H. (full name no shown for privacy reasons). The vice leader is A.H (full name not shown for privacy reasons). Both A.H. and Afra J are heads of government. The leader of this nation is Afra J. On the 26th of September, The Baffin RAJ declared war on The DBRSI, calling it a “far-right wing extremist group”. Tensions have worsened ever since.

Location
The Communist Republic of Baffin is located in Baffins Pond (Punta Sea) in Fratton, Portsmouth, The UK. The micronation also has pockets of land in Sutton and Tadworth. It also claims ownership of the Island of Skokholm, Wales as well as the volcanic island of Tinakula in Oceania. Also in Oceania, The Communist Republic also claims Mc Cluer Island.
Territories
The Communist Republic of Baffin currently has land within Baffins Pond (Punta Sea) in Fratton. The micronation also has autonomous territories in Sutton and Tadworth. At 28 April, The Baffin RAJ claimed ownership of Skokholm and has become an additional region (autonomous) of The Communist Republic of Baffin. At the 29th of April, Afra J claimed Tinakula from the Solomon Islands. Tinakula has become an autonomous region. Later on, at the same day, Afra J claimed the uninhabited Mc Cluer Island (the weather station situated there was not a part of the claim), which was claimed by Australia. No other micronation has claimed Mc Cluer Island.
Origin
The RAJ was created when Afra J, leader of the Baffin Republic Communist Party, gained 18 points in the 2nd election of 2020, leaving the party in last place, behind the BRIP and Liberal Party. Afra had already been warned for vote rigging and bribery prior to the election. Upon seeing the results, Afra immediately declared war on the Liberal and BRI parties, and his citizenship was revoked by the Prime Executive of the DRSBI. Alexander Howey, who also supported the party, had his citizenship revoked on the same day.
Afra laid claim on the entire Baffin Republic, and got official recognition from 2 other micronations, whereas the DRSBI had recognition from 22 already. The RAJ was not a member of any intermicronational committee until the 29th September 2020 when Afra J created The International Communist Micronation League (ICML), Afra J is the founder and sole member of that league.
On the 29th of September N.S attempted to assasinate leader of The Communist Republic of Baffin - Afra J. N.S immediately got his citizenship revoked. Rumour has it that N.S worked for a secret service originating in The Democratic Republic of Skokholm and the Baffin Islands (DRSBI). Lawrence Martin, Jerry Qian and N.S are banned from The Communist Republic of Baffin.

Culture
The culture of The Communist Republic of Baffin is very mixed, the national food is Guyanese, the national animal and drink is Russian. The names of the places of this micronation have been influenced by countries such as Russia and Nigeria. The language (Pourtsmouth-Russian) has many English, Spanish, Russian and Polish influences as well as Portuguese, Italian, French and Greek (to a lesser extent), the country also has a lot of influences from these nations.

Flags

There are currently nine existing flags in The Communist Republic of Baffin. On of the flags (the national one) is the nation's flag. Five of the flags (New Lagos, New Russia, Eastland, Croydon Bay and Northlands) represents the five regions of The Communist Republic of Baffin. 5 of the flags represent the autonomous regions of the nation: Baffin Sutton, Baffin Tadworth, Baffin Skokholm, Baffin Tinakula and Baffin Mc Cluer.
War against the DRSBI
On Saturday 26 September 2020, Afra declared war on the DRSBI following his landslide loss in the 2nd election of the year. The same day, the leader of the DRSBI, Lawrence Martin, released a statement on the situation.

An election will be taking place in The Communist Republic of Baffin (Baffin RAJ) on October 1, elections take place in this micronation every two months, a copy of the election system of the Baffin Republic. The party taking part of this election will only be The Baffin Republic (RAJ) Communist Party, this will also be the case for future elections. No other party is allowed to take part of these national elections, apart from the Communist Party.
The dissolution of The Baffin RAJ
On the 30th September 2020 (a day before where there would have been an election in the nation), the leader Afra J decide to sign a peace treaty with the DRSBI. The RAJ retracted their claim of the Baffin Republic as well as Skokholm, but still rightfully owned the rest. The RAJ finally ended it's dictatorsip, communism and turned into a socialist micronation and changed it's name to: The Socialist States of Tinakula (Tinakula being the capital). An election will be taking place in that micronation on October 1, 2020.
