The Clippertonian Coast Guard is the coast guard of Clippertonia. Formed in 2023, the coast guard is tasked with search-and-rescue as well as customs enforcement. The coast guard operates 2 ships and 3 planes. The coast guard is not a military force, but will be tasked with the defense of Clippertonia in the time of a war.
Role and Responsiblity
The coast guard is tasked with search and rescue and customs enforcement. Coast Guard vessels patrol around Clipperton Island, searching for people in violation of customs, and people in distress. Coast Guard aircraft fly around the airspace, doing this same thing. The difference is that the aircraft cannot help people in distress and have to dispatch ships. If an aircraft is violating customs, coast guard aircraft will intercept them.
History
After the disbandment of the Clippertonian Armed Forces, aircraft from the Clippertonian Air Force were reorganized into the coast guard.
