The Chief Minister of the National Assembly, often shortened to the Chief Minister is the de facto head of the government appointed by the Monarchy of Sabovia for a one year term until the monarch turns 16. The Chief Minister is officially the representative of the monarch in the National Assembly, and has no real power without the approval of the reigning monarch. The office of Chief Minister was officially created by the monarch on January 7, 2013 and Mikaela Gatley was appointed as the "Interim Chief Minister of the National Assembly" until the Chief Minister Elections date is decided. The Chief Minister currently can appoint a "Deputy Chief Minister of the National Assembly" with the approval of the monarch. The Chief Minister's official job title is "Head of the Ministers, Chief Adviser to the Monarch and Head of the National Assembly". The Chief Minister cannot veto acts or dissolve the National Assembly, the Chief Minister currently isn't paid. The Monarch of Sabovia can legally remove the Chief Minister from office and replace them with someone else, the Monarch can't however declare themselves the Chief Minister. Once the monarch turns 16 the Chief Minister office is dissolved and re-created if a monarch is crowned under the age of 16.
