The Chair of the Micronational Association for Finance and Economics is the organiser of the Micronational Association for Finance and Economics and the organisation's primary representative in the micronational community. Although technically defined as the leader, the main job of the Chair is usually to facilitate the function of the Assembly as a place of debate between people with different ideas, to suggest and manage projects, and to represent the organisation in the community. The Chair is assisted by two Deputy Chairs, who are appointed by the Chair. The Chair is elected once every year, and if the Chair resigns, an early election may be held or one of the Deputy Chairs may be appointed as an Acting Chair.
