The People's Republic of Capia, commonly just Capia, is a self declared sovereign state often referred to as a micronation located within the United Kingdom. It was established by Lukas Mills on 9 February 2023.
The nation is a dejure semi-presidential republic but has been placed under dictatorship since early on in its existence. The national parliament, consisting of a senate and house of delegates, still have somewhat of a role in national politics despite this. Lukas Mills has been President since the nation's foundation.

Government and Politics
Presidency
The President of Capia is the nation's executive head of state. The presidency wields significant political power and has a significant influence over legislation.
The president appoints the prime minister and all other cabinet ministers and has to assent to all bills before they can become law. The president also serve as the commander-in-chief of national armed forces.
Prime Minister
The Prime Minister of Capia is the state's head of government. They are appointed by the president, and chairs the cabinet. The PM is also typically a member of the House of Delegates.
The PM nominates people for cabinet positions to the president and can also suspend and dismiss ministers.
The prime minister also acts as a key advisor to the president.
Parliament
The Parliament of Capia is the supreme legislative body of the People's Republic. The House of Delegates serves as the lower house and is where the Prime Minister and cabinet typically sits as well as other Members of Parliament. The Senate serves as the upper house and helps maintain checks and balances as well as supporting the presidency.
Economy
The national currency is the Capian Dollar, the production and policy concerning of which is overseen by the Government and national bank.
Culture
English is the primary national language of the people's republic. Media is state controlled by the Department of Culture's Office of Media (sometimes called the Media Office). Education is seen as important in the nation and is overseen by the government's Department of Education.
